9 minutes ago the foam causes alot of friction. so, take a foam sand block and cut and sand down the nose of boat on the bottom. 45 degrees or more. after sanding use industrial clear skotch tape to smooth out the bottom. the great thing about the foam is you can cut multi sapes to get diff resaults.
also if the engine isnt powerful enough you should use a different prop so the engine can work to its full potential also it seems rich so try tuning it
seems like the front is too far in the water so it wont plan properly. also you should add a stationary fin ton the bottom so it will move striaghter and not curve to one side. this will give you more control
nice work last one is the best one its great when they work okay and you think i made that lol what engine you running a two blade prop gives better speed 3 blade more control i go for 2 blade i want speed lol
we actually switched from a wood 2 blade to a plastic 3 blade in test 3. You are right, the wood prop was splitting and splintering because of water hitting the blades.
that's pretty sick, im building one right now can't wait to run it

my old electric rc boat can go faster

That thing is sloooooow! Plows the water like a gas powered brick! Try putting the motor on the box that the engine came in, it might be faster!

hey awsome boat if you wanted more controll over it you could put a rudder for it into the water attached to the rudder on the boat

good idea - a drawback of that approach might be that you couldn't maneuver at low speed (?)

Engine sounds a bit rich trying tuning it go twice as fast

Great build! Deffinatly a good idea to increase the surface area on the water like you did on your 3rd test (i think).
