loved the tour, perfect police dispatcher voice! very calming and soothing. Love the house! shouldn't take too long to clean, post another video showing the progress!
I love that stove with grill. The foux stone wall looks good. Rip that loft out and make better use of the space, perhaps. I love it. What a fun project. Love from Dallas, TX.
Thanks for posting these couple of videos. I have often gone by on marina drive and wondered what it would be like to live in one of those floating houses. Very informative!
Hi Stephanie! Thanks for sharing your home with us. My daughter and I watched your video together. How wonderful it must be living directly on the water like that. So beautiful. I would imagine that maintenance would be a constant because of the water. Still .. what an experience that must be! Please share your progress!
i love this house i got a guy named joe making me a tiny home for only $7,000 and ii got a bathroom seperate shower.up stairs with 2 bedrooms fully furnished with 2 beds and a a small tv in my room. its 10x10. i love it.
Thanks for the great 2- part tour! I really enjoyed the narrative. We live near you and drive by regularly, always slowing down and enjoying the view.
I have a suggestion- could you raise the sleeping loft another foot or two and tuck your office under it? Then the new back area could become your bedroom. You could connect it to the bath through the wall opposite your shower.
if you can find a cabinet maker that will build drawers into stairs to your bed you will also have more space...I lived on a houseboat..36ft..and many drawers were built into unusual places...under the bed platform...corners with shelves...
Lovely! Great job...I have a question, what is an alternating tread staircase? And what kind of flotation under the deck are you using? Is there a way to power this home to move it or do you have to have it towed should you decide to? Nice video, thank you for sharing!
awesome little house. keep updating too. lol what do you do for work. just curious thats all. Solar is the way to go, cuts the cost down on stuff good ideas too about what your going to do to the house. lol Looks so cozy too. lol
Well, slap my mouth... Isn't that just the cutest thing you've ever seen? Gfriend is pretty smart huh? I think so. I can't wait to see it finished. You are going to do a completed video I know...
I like that house! I'd probably have dreams of it sinking every time I slept, but that's just me. =\ I really liked the sleeping loft. The views are beautiful!
The reason why the bathroom was built so narrow is there used to be a boat well next door. If the bathroom had been any wider it would have significantly limited the size of the boat that could be parked in the well. That, of course, is no longer a concern so it's one of my top priorities to change. :)
That is one thin bathroom! I love the dishwasher! So many nice ones to choose from on that link you sent me! We don't have one now, but are in ongoing debate with ourselves about re-doing the 1966 kitchen we have now.
miss stephanie, how many square feet do you have?

personally I would use the extra room as your bedroom and office and have the loft spot as the guest sleeping quarters.

Very cozy, I suppose the sewer system is like an RV holding tank that needs to be pumped.
