i dont understand, how come it was able push through the fence the 1st time it was up, but not the second, and why did it just stop in front of the fence, and not just kill everybody?

wait a second...these were the same steps he walked up in the 1st visit but they didnt bend the first time? LOL!

@jerryfudala I think it took a different form the first time...it didn't leave footprints then either, and it was able to get into the inner compartment of the ship through a small hatch.

The monster can partially be seen when the fence goes out.
