How in the world did you do this??!?!!!!??? And did you have an audience when you did this? Could you hear da music if you were standing outside da house?
@ZProGolfer I use hardware and software made by Light-O-Rama. Cars would come by every night. There was an external speaker and I also broadcasted the music over an FM radio station. So when folks drived by in the car, they could tune their car radio to my frequency and listen to the music in their car speakers while the lights "danced" to the music.
The Mormon tabernacle choir is a Christian choir. They sing of the savior of his divinity and omnipotence. Anyone who claims the Mormon Church does not follow the teachings of the savior Jesus Christ is extremely ignorant.
Love the music, but the flashy house decorations remind me of Snoopy's "award winning" effort in A Charlie Brown Christmas. "Lights and Display Contest! Win Money, Money Money!"
I had to "trim" the length of the song because it takes 5-10 hours to just program one minute of animation. It took a ton of hours to just do the 3+ minutes you see here.
Really amazing!!!... congratulations... and i'm sorry for the truck that ruin the scene... :-(

How long did it take to make this and why did you cut out the last and best part of the song???
ZProGolfer 2 years ago
@ZProGolfer Programming took 5 to 10 hours. Installing all of the lights took about 40 hours.
The song is really long and I was up against the clock to finish in time to turn the lights on. Sorry

I hate to say it but I don't think that this is the Mormon Tabernacle Choir singing. They sound very different.
elk312 2 years ago
@elk312 It is. The song file was downloaded off their CD by me and used to choreograph the lights. :-)

Huh. I'm surprised because they just sound very different in this recording than what I'm used to. It's still beautiful to hear though!
Merry Christmas! :)

Too funny. Someone has a lot of time on their hands. I would not want to be their neighbors either. Hope they only do this once a night.
mjfindlay1968 3 years ago
This is really beautiful and quite amazing, but I'd hate to be their neighbors.
