  • Wow, so many negative and positive commands. Well, for an regular person like me, never done any construction work in my entire life but loves to learn and save money to fix my own house. This guy DID explained a lot and demonstrated basic, simple skills I needed. Thanks man, I've saved a fortune from your vid.

  • Idk y ppl r ripping this guy apart, he does the job correctly and proffesionally

  • Remember, If you only learn one thing today, you must be in a Union.

  • en vez de clavos parecia ke estaba haciendo un prche jaja

  • i can do better

  • this guy is funny, he doesnt have a clue what he is doing, yet he talks with confidence like he is da best, but he is so way off base

  • How much mud do you need, just to cover screw holes? You should just cover the whole ceiling and the wall with mud. You've been taping too many joints. Who ever hired this dude, must buy alot, I mean ALOT of joint compound for this dude. SAD>>>>>>>>>

  • this guy has no FUCKING idea what the hell hes talking about...IUPAT Chicago local 14 runs this motherfucker!!!

  • he knows what hes doin dumbass

  • u dont fucking add that much mud on screw holes, IT AINT A JOINT, you give it three coats and you barely leave any mud...read the comments befor you say anything!!!

  • wtf ever bud i have done this for years and even though i dont do it lik this fellow here he has done the job to professional standards......

  • dude a brother local 300 seattle!! this guy is a fucking joke and anyone calls him a professional is retarded. Go grid a lid GRIDIOT

  • Three coats of coarse but only around an hour a day on screws

  • Seems to me at that pace he would spend at least three fulls days just spotting screws. I dont know why he thinks he is "pretty fast". A professional can spot screws in a 300 hundred board house in a little over an hour.

  • ya if he just turned the knife he could still do multiple screws in one pass but less mud and sanding

  • You're using a lot of compound just for finishing screw holes. When you get good at it all you'll have to do is spot those screws.

  • Just saying" do it like this, or like that" does not teach people well. As a veiwer I need to also hear you describe what you are doing in detail, not just see you do it.

  • seeing is believing... go watch Bob ross

  • hey man, for your screws, start with a 4".next a 5" then a 6" or 8" using the size of each knife.

Less everything! 95% of the time, butt joints need to be at least 2 ft wide or more.

Try using a Hawk and trawel....12" 14" 16' 18 all kinds for differant applacations!

  • looks like those nails have enough plaster. try using a curve trowel, usually saves doing an extra coat. same quality, less time and less materials. That product no-coat is something you should look at on youtube.

  • Well wtf? Dude you run your screws wider than your flats? Use a 5" or 6" knife and just fill the screw holes.

  • try a hawk and trowel

  • Wow Im glad Im not sanding your screw holes. Try a 5' knife.

  • You go to narrow on your butt joints and to wide on your screws. Do your screws with a 6 inch knife.

  • thanks man, good info
