Why is there ALWAYS some semi-pro athlete who can't even spell "acting" in almost every Stallone movie? An athlete who can't act doesn't bring authenticity to a film role, it just distracts from it. The only true athlete/actor who ever appeared in a Stallone film was Carl Weathers.

I probably saw this movie maybe twice, the last time over 25 years ago, and I still remember scenes and quotes from it clearly. "He's too stupid to be scared." Classic. Stallone used to be part of the team managing Canalito, who was disparaged as a Hollywood wannabe, fighting only once in the year this came out even though he turned pro only the year before. Stallone's excuse for his inactivity was that he was too good to match. Despite a perfect record his career never got going.

The one segment I couldn't figure out was why that guys manager was caught wearing a ladies garter belt. Was it part of the wrestling show, was he gay or did one of his women put him up to or make him wear it. I couldn't figure that part out. I saw where he looked like he was choking one of them did she make him wear it. It really made no sense in the movie.
