I shot a big mule deer buck with 30-06 golden bear FMJ, and with a 308 i shot a whitetaile deer in the lungs at 100 yds and it only ran like 50 yds so you can go hunting with it but i do like PSP better for hunting. Just to let you know.

@SgtBooker44 - keep the ammo sealed in air tight boxes. I have some 10+ year old reloads I need to shoot and do a video over. The reloads have been stored at the bug out location since around 1998 and 1999.

If you store up all that dehydrated food, you have to make certain that you have an abundant supply of water.

Caned food has water in it, so even if the water supply runs short, just eating the caned food might keep you hydrated enough to survive until there is fresh water.

You do know the 30-30 is much similar to the 7.62x39mm as in of fire power i guess you could say. Id say your better off by just getting 7.62 instead of 30-30 but thats just me. Other than that great tips! Love the video.

These hooks r too big IMO.. What beast ya wanna catch using it? I suggest small sizes up to 1/0, 4/0 the biggest. Do use j hooks but but off set the point abit... Circle hook meant for catch &release, no good during a shit ): 1 more thing, smaller a size, more pieces in a box and lot chances catching anything

Most 'survival' food is just that...it's designed for survival and not particularly healthy.

That's why my favorite is OATMEAL, many athletes and nutritionists recommend oatmeal in our 'normal' world. It will be a godsend in the survival world.

No freezer or refrigerator needed.

I feel you could do so much more than all this MSG laden food. I don't mean to be an angry commenter. I enjoy your videos and wouldn't be a sub'er if i didn't. However, in a SHTF scenario you more than likely wouldn't get to have your 3 hardly meals a day, or even get to choose your sides. That just my opinion. Perhaps it doesn't belong here but that is what i believe the comment section is for!
