The college I attended doesn't have a football program or I would. Then again, it can be argued that UVA doesn't have a football program either. It's a god given right to become a fan of whomever I chose.

It was a proper start to the season. Everyone should still be worried about the defensive line. I'm Worried that they are depending on the LBs and DBs to make all the big plays, while the DLine just takes up space. Need the DLine to play better is what I'm saying.
Other than that, the OLine needs to stay tough and if Clausen continues to find those mismatches, then ND's offense should be very good.

All through Fall camp I heard that Allen was the clear No. 1, but from what I saw it looks like he going to have to bring his A game to stay No. 1. He had a productive game as usual, but Gray and Riddick look like they can break tackles better than Allen. The depth at the RB position is incredible. Don't forget Hughes, Aldridge, and Cierre Wood can be productive carrying the ball. I hope Cierre Wood gets some action against Michigan.
You have to remember what Allen offers in addition to running the ball. He has better hands than Gray to line up in the slot, and Riddick probably doesn't have complete mastery of the playbook for that kind of flexibility either.

Jonas Gray.. Gray is okay but Riddick is better but none of them can pick up blitz like Allen. So until than Allen is the feature back.
