  • Fantastic lesson and Tab. Easy to learn. Fun to play (I play acoustic lap slide).

    Thanks so much!

  • Thanks for that!

  • You are the bomb Big Daddy! Where you from?

  • @01twincam thanks!

Belgium, check out my profile :-)

  • Great guidance!

I got little closer to Mcdowell magic, thanks.

  • What a great guitar what model of stella is it? regards Carl.

  • Great job. 5*****

  • Merry Xmas my dear belgian fellow.

Nice guitar. maple (or so) fingerboard is quite unusual

  • Thanks maikel, fingerboard is made of MOT (mother of toiletseat), in other words : plastic.

This imitation mother of pearl material was new and very popular in the 20ies, so popular that even toiletseats were made of it, and guitarfretboards.

  • This is very helpful and informative. Thank you for taking the time. Thank you for sharing. Merry Christmas.

  • Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Carl. You're a good'un.

  • God you're great!

    Love your stuff!

  • could you please consider doing a lesson blind blake's walkin' from georgia bound? it would be much appreciated as well.

  • Stefan Grossman tabbed this out in his book/cd about Blind Blake.

Also try out acoustictravellersl on Youtube : he has two dvd's on Blake.

I recorded a version on my second cd.

  • elsewhere it's called walkin' across the country ... not walkin' blues ... is this the one?

  • No, Walkin' cross the country is a different song than Georgia Bound - both are in the key of C though. I advise you to become a member of the Weenie Campbell forum - lotsa good souls there that help eachother out with knowledge about prewar blues.

  • @daddystovepipe ... thanks ... quite the forum!

  • I totally LOVED your earlier performance of this tune. So you can imagine my delight to find an instructional video on it! Thank you so very much. A wonderful Xmas present indeed.

  • Love the tone on the guitar. What kind?

  • Stella Sovereign with really old strings.
