all you liberals are so overeactive, harper is not a nazi, I mean do you honestly not think thats just maybe a little bit extreme of a statement?, oh well no matter, it seems most Canadians get it, since they gave him a majority.
I thought we would have an election by now, well no $ no hurry let the PCZ spend/cut us into oblivion like fuhrer harris now basking' in his political wealth, he should be in the homeless shelter where he send thousands to!
@iden123 Thank goodness we have Mr. Harper standing up for us against the jackals (Iffy, Layton and that Separatist guy). I know Iffy is an American; however, when will he learn about Canadians?
damn it why cant the liberals have a good leader and step fucking up their own plans...seriously theyve got to be the stupidest political party ever...worse than the rhinoceros party XD
The broadest most representative government would be a Coalition government, better than any single party raming its narrow agenda that most people dont want. Harper has shown he doesnt give a crap about the majority of parliment, disregared it, make a crisis out of thin air and closed parliment to hold on to power. Liberals arent as bad but given majority alone they would pull crap like sponsorship scandal that would not be tolerated in a coalition which puts forward policies acceptable to all.
But, seriously, can anything be less democratic than a Stephen Harper government?
Sad for Canada that we have been stuck with the "lesser of two evils" for so long now.
I hope Iggy, Jack and Gilles can really come together to offer some hope and alternative, in a coalition or just by exposing Harper for the tool that he is.
The stepped down for their deputy leader with good grace for this transition period. I would like to see Harper go by coalition or election.
Harper has abused his power and Ignatieff will not let him off the hook. p.s. How many people noticed that by the latest Angus Reid Poll that Jack Layton is by far seen as the most trusted and honest, and the one who most cares in the things people believe in. There is a discrepancy between who they support and trust. Let peoples better angels guide them.
Harper's lived in Canada his whole life. Do you think he represents the values of the average Canadian? For me it comes down to one thing: Harper must be stopped before he eliminates all opposition and turns Canada into a one party government. Like they have in North Korea. Or Alberta. If I have to vote for Ignatieff to try and stop Harper, that's no problem.
A vote for Harper or Ignatieff, is a vote for the NWO.
Ignatieff's sharp rise to power is astonishing when one considers that he resided outside of Canada from 1978-2005 and only returned to Canada to run for political office. He has no municipal or provincial/territorial elected experience.
Ignatieff supported the 2003 Invasion of Iraq and voted in favour of extending the Canadian Forces deployment in Afghanistan. Harper shook Ignatieff's hand after the vote in May 2006.
Sorry, pal. I thought you were working for Harper. Me, I'm a realist. I know that Harper or Ignatieff are going to win - probably a minority. If Harper loses, he will probably be gone as Con leader. That's what I want. I don't love Ignatieff but he's a means to an end. And yes, I agree that all politics is screwed. But that's the way it's always been. Good luck trying to change it.
No worries, the problem is that both Harper and Ignatieff are working for the NWO and are bad for Canada. They rely on us feeling defeated and unable to change the outcome. We can change the outcome through our vote. We just have to vote smarter and educate ourselves as to what is really going on in the world and Canada. And, not watch the boob tube. Don't believe the talking heads on TV.
My playlists have a ton of info about the NWO and their agenda.
@NoMajorityForSteve Sound like liberlas thier buddy,Conservatives are captlist and liberlas lean more towards communism,or did you smock to many joints with the liberlas cause they wana legalise that kinda stuff too.
Living in other countrys I don't mind, but spending pretty much the majority of your adult life out of Canada is going a bit far. And the guy repeatedly refered to himself as an american. He only came back to canada because he wanted to be PM, and that is the only reason he cares about this country at all.
Way to promote coalition unity. I was pro coalition originally, but I'm not going to sell out my party to folks like you who can't wait to stab us in the back.
I was at the Conservative Anti-Coalition Rally here in Vancouver {Dec 6 08 ] { Watch my video please } Mr Stockwell Day failed to mention, that in year 2000, Conservative Alliance,Conservative and the Bloc had agreed to form a coalition,The 2000 agreement ,titled Consensus Leadership for a New Century , stated: We agree that we will support Stockwell Day as PM of Canada
Day has denied ever seeing this document , Chretien won a majority
Ignatieff is "interim Leader." In May the party will vote on making him full leader. You're grasping at straws when you attack Ignatieff for this. No one forced the other candidates to drop out of the race but Harper's antics have forced the Liberals to speed up their leadership process. They must be ready for the possibility of an election in February or March. The only thing un-democratic in the current situation is Harper shutting down parliament to avoid a non-confidence vote.
Euh!!! excuse me but I think that the conservative party is in a minoritary government. 38% of voice against 62%. It's Harper that have close the more democratic institution in Canada that is the parlement!!! Harper act like if he was in a banana republic. Sorry guys but this movie is suck!!!
It's easy for a small L liberal like Ignatieff to look good when compared to the far-right cretin Reformers who've stolen the Conservative name. It'll be interesting to see how well Steve does against Iggy in the next election. Hard to believe he'll have as easy a time as he did against Dion.

Ignatieff supported the American invasion of Iraq in response to weapons of mass destruction as well as the Conservative's extension to the mission of Afganistan to 2001. He will take the Liberal party to a more right of centre direction. I miss Dion.
Short of time. Seize the moment. Harper must go; tried to bankrupt opposition; is snippy little control freak. Rae is team player and knows method would have little effect on outcome. Liberals must prepare for upcoming election which is likely sooner than later. No real good leaders in Canadian politics but Iggy might be better than Harper, needs a chance.Canadians anxious to vote liberal, if candidate can be found who can walk and chew gum. Iggy fills the bill.Popular in Quebec. Dump coalition.

If Natty-F has more support than why take over without a proper vote? This guy ignores Canada for 30 years and comes back and we're supposed to fall over ourselves with glee because he graces us with his presence? Is this Canada or Kazakhstan? Have some pride in your own country people.
@shonester Yeah really Liberls lean towards communism, not capitlist conservatives, sorry for any mispspells, liberlas light drug laws helped me out thier with that/
Seizing power? Ignatieff has more support than Rae among Liberals. At any rate, it's their business how they choose their leader. Polls show that Harper would trounce Rae in an election. And the coalition is great for the NDP and the Bloc, but can only hurt the Liberals in the long run. Harper could probably get our useless Governor General to allow him an election in February or March, since she seems incapable of doing the right thing. And can you imagine fascist Harper with a majority?

Lets see... Shephen Harper gets the inspiration for his backward political views from USA neo cons, wheras Ignatieff IS a USA neocon.
Ignatieffs whole career was backroom deals since they parachuted him in against the wishes of Lakeshore riding association.
