The broadest most representative government would be a Coalition government, better than any single party raming its narrow agenda that most people dont want. Harper has shown he doesnt give a crap about the majority of parliment, disregared it, make a crisis out of thin air and closed parliment to hold on to power. Liberals arent as bad but given majority alone they would pull crap like sponsorship scandal that would not be tolerated in a coalition which puts forward policies acceptable to all.

Harper's lived in Canada his whole life. Do you think he represents the values of the average Canadian? For me it comes down to one thing: Harper must be stopped before he eliminates all opposition and turns Canada into a one party government. Like they have in North Korea. Or Alberta. No worries, the problem is that both Harper and Ignatieff are working for the NWO and are bad for Canada. They rely on us feeling defeated and unable to change the outcome. We can change the outcome through our vote. We just have to vote smarter and educate ourselves as to what is really going on in the world and Canada. And, not watch the boob tube. Don't believe the talking heads on TV.

Ignatieff is "interim Leader." In May the party will vote on making him full leader. You're grasping at straws when you attack Ignatieff for this. No one forced the other candidates to drop out of the race but Harper's antics have forced the Liberals to speed up their leadership process. They must be ready for the possibility of an election in February or March. The only thing un-democratic in the current situation is Harper shutting down parliament to avoid a non-confidence vote.

Seizing power? Ignatieff has more support than Rae among Liberals. At any rate, it's their business how they choose their leader. Polls show that Harper would trounce Rae in an election. And the coalition is great for the NDP and the Bloc, but can only hurt the Liberals in the long run. Harper could probably get our useless Governor General to allow him an election in February or March, since she seems incapable of doing the right thing. And can you imagine fascist Harper with a majority?
