I have the pre and have had it for one month. The Pre is not a bad phone but the battery life is a killer. I say DO NOT buy the Pre, go ahead and get the hero! I called Sprint today and I will be getting the HTC HERO in a week or so!

big whoop, 5%.. if you were to constantly use it with the brightness that high then 5% isn't all that much. I think it's odd that people FREAK out when a little bit of battery is used like the battery is suppose to last 7 days with constant use.

Quick question, what HTC firmware build is this? when you tilt the screen to view in landscape mode, does it zoom out to give a "wobbly" effect then zoom back in, or does it just change it (slowly) with no animation? I've seen quite a few Sprint Hero videos that seemed on the slower side, so I was wondering if they didn't include the firmware update on the phones. I know that Donut will be available later, just unsure about the HTC build.

Is the screen teflon coated or have some sort of coating to reduce fingerprint smudges? I heard that the phone would feature that when it was revealed.

Can't wait to get this, I hope Sprint is a good network but I am switching from T-Mo so it could be an improvement.

Thx for this video but it is a lot disappointing how so jerky it is, no offense. You're zoomed too far in we can't see the notification area or even the buttons on the bottom. Yes this is only the 1st part but all through i kept gritting my teeth at everything.

I am so starved for this phone and any new info but i was so bummed out as you keep knocking it askew every now and then. Pls next time just hold it steady with your left hand (thumb and index finger). I can't wait for 2nd part though!!

No it is not donut, but does contain some of donut's features or else it wouldn't work on sprint's network. Donut's market is blue and contains screenshots, while the one shown on this video is the old black one. Hope Donut gets pushed out soon though.
