  • That is conservative wit, when it goes high!

  • this is one of the least funny things ive ever seen in my life. i watched it again just now to relive the unfunnyness. id liken it to david brent dancing on the UK version of the Office. it's almost like a car crash that you cant turn away from.

  • that was funny as heck, Cizzila and Millbank are great

  • typical "humorous" Liberals

  • Lame. Calling Hillary a bitch is sooo last year dorks.

  • Disappointing that Media Matters shows to highlight this video as some kind of example of hate. Focus on the important stuff.

  • my god, this is dumber that i ever feared -- and i love dana millbank's column ... the "bitch" thing, btw, was perfectly OK

  • Oh boy are you two liberals in hot water!

  • What a painful spectacle -- two people who don't know they aren't funny, attempting to be comedians.

    This is relentlessly lame.

  • The Washington Post apologized for this name of a beer that their bloggers assigned to a favorite Dem. Notice the same skit gave evil or Satanist names to GOP beers would drink; specifically, Sara Palins beer of choice was labeled Arctic Devil. Now, where is the Posts apology for offending Republicans of faith? Oops, I forgot. People of faith dont count unless they are liberal. Conservatives dont rate an apology, so why start now? Yep, there is no liberal bias in the media.

  • This just shows the Media is just a collection of PUSSIES. Well I guess it makes sense, most of the Media is Leftist, and ALL Leftists are PUSSIES. Funny how the PUSSIES at the Washington Post ran with their tails between their legs when the FEMINAZIs came out with a "statement!" OH NO! The Feminazi's issued a STATEMENT! AHH!

You fucking pathetic media leftists. I bet you all get beaten by your wives - we all know Michelle beats Barack. Shit, she's got biceps bigger than his torso!

  • Ha ha, that was so funny. They don't need to apologize to anyone for that, but maybe that Troll guy.

Beer and politics are two great things to talk about, they mix well I see!

  • lol that was awesome. hiliary is just bein a pms'in bitch with no sense of humor.

  • I find the piece quite humorous. They mentioned some finely crafted beers and some not so finely honed politicians.

But really, if you can't make fun of politicians in this country who can you make fun of? Stop being so damned sensitive America!

  • I love it. The United States of the Offended have once again prevailed over freedom of speech. Wake up America!!! We are losing our freedom, one Constitutional right at a time. We are opening the door for the United Nations to step in and institute a global constitution. And Obama is just the man to allow it to happen.

  • This was funny I'm not sure why it was made into such a big deal.

  • This is the country that is about to put into the supreme court a woman who thinks Latinas make better decisions than white men, and these guys are in hot water over one insult to one woman? Fascism, nothing less.

  • here here for censorship! this was not offensive, unless you have no sense of humor.

  • That's Arrogant "Bastard" Ale there, guys. Leave it to a couple of DC guys to know absolutely nothing about microbrews.

  • this was not offensive at all.

  • Ya know, this isn't THAT bad. I wanted to hate it, but smiled a few times. They should have been allowed to keep making these. People are ridiculously sensitive. What a bunch of p@ssies we've become. Shame.

  • It's not bad... Two guys pointing out character flaws using beers titles as metaphors ..I saw this stuff using candybar names when I was a kid.

What's not funny is all the time dedicated to complaining about it.

  • Hilarious Millbank censored video.

  • About three and a half minutes too long.

  • Why is everyone so upset by this? People think this is really a demonstration of insidious gender bias??? It seems like people are manufacturing gender bias all the time, which dilutes the credibility they have when bringing up actual gender bias. This is not helpful to your cause!!

  • What unfunny assholes.

  • I hate how people have become all pissy over borderline jokes. If this hadn't been singled out by media matters, I probably would have been hard pressed to see anything shocking. Mad Bitch Beer, a comment on her public life moreso than an attack on women.

  • sexism...only acceptable form of offensive bigotry in our mainstream media and society.

Milibank is a weakling shit anyway.....he's just jealous Hillary Clinton can teach him few things about courage and guts in public life.

  • why is this on MediaMatters? Like, it was nonoffensive, because they punched everyone equally hard... get a grip. There are real conservative lies out there, and you took the time to screen this?

  • Not funny.

  • not funny at all

  • LOLZ

  • zzzzzzzz.......

  • not offensive, media matters

the only offensive thing about it was the fact that it wasn't very funny.

  • I wouldn't say it was very offensive, but it also wasn't very funny. There was really no reason to bring it up.

  • This Mouthpiece Theatre series just isn't funny.

  • Should be called Tooltime Theatre.

  • This is neither funny or hateful, just sad. And hopefully soon forgotten.

  • ...seriously, MMFA? Seriously? This is what you thought needed to be noticed as being 'biased'? Did you guys miss where they played on pretty much everyone's political or personal leanings in a mocking way? What's next, attacking Jon Stewart for criticizing Obama for reneging on some campaign promises that he actually DID renege on? Get real, people!

  • It's about time that sexist comments were jumped on. Women are threatened, dismissed, marginalized or objectivized by that word constantly.

If this happened every time it came up men would think twice.

  • Get over it. There are words in a similar context that are used for men also.

  • Bitch is just like the 'N" word. Get over yourself, I'll bet most of the really desireable women you know are really over you.

  • I use the word 'bitch' jokingly from time with my closer female friends. I also use the 'N' word in the same manner, though very rarely. It's all about the context.

Remember that 'bitch' and 'nigger' are just words. The more people jump up and down about them, the more they get used. If there is a point where they are censored, I'm sure the same idiots who use them to disparage others will come up up with five new replacment words and use them to the same affect.

    Go get laid you feminist!

  • Please educate yourself on the use of the n-word. We should not and will not every use those words in casual conversation. And I feel rappers who use the word for entertainment are wrong, wrong, wrong.

If you were my friend and ever called me the n-word... Stupid comment. Someone like you would never be my friend.

  • If you actually read my comment you would realise that you would never hear the word 'nigger' from my mouth unless you were a very good friend of mine or if we were laughing over an Eddie Murphy sketch or something.

The more you try and stop people from doing something, the more they want to do it. It's human nature.

And by they way, I have fairly dark skin and have been called 'nigger' ever since I old enough to leave the safety of my home. I KNOW how disparaging the word can be.

  • Your choice of vocabulary is nothing to applaud. Do you enjoy calling people names? Do you feel better about yourself now?

  • No I don't. I'm sorry.... ;(

  • The only reason people are so offended by this is because Clinton is actually seen as kind of a bitch.

For Palin, Arctic Devil was suggest. No sexism for another female politician.

Ahmadinijad was equated with "Serious Madness;" I don't, however, believe this can be called racism, despite the suggestion that middle-easterners are mentally disturbed.

I just don't see it. Sexism is a real problem and stupid shit like this campaign detracts from the real problem.

  • I'll spell it out for you.

"Arctic Devil" is a gender neutral insult. You can call either a man - say, Stevens - or a woman - Palin - arctic devil without bringing gender into it.

"Bitch" is a gendered insult. The definition is: female canine animal; woman considered to be spiteful or overbearing. "Bitch" is a label for "uppity" women.

If they'd shown a beer called, say, "African Savage" and then flashed a pic of a Obama, you'd get it was a different kind of insult. I hope.

  • Don't see why this was posted, felt like they took a shot at everyone equally. Entertaining, but not newsworthy.

  • Uberfail, except for the "hoegaarden", belgian beer.

  • This is nothing but hate speech. You couldn't say the N word in this context not even as so called "humor"

It's hate speech, and it's condoned in our society since women are the only group left that can be treated this way on the airwaves with this language.

I'm highly offended and disgusted. Are these people completely uneducated?

    Tylonous you pitiable.

  • You are right.

Nothing will happen to either of these guys. They'll continue to have free reign writing about women candidates, electeds, and cabinet members. They'll call women's issues unimportant, if they acknowledge them at all. They will never, ever "see" sexism during a campaign. And the whole time, they'll deny they are biased, even though they made it clear that when it comes to women in politics, their first thought is "bitch" (and they don't see anything wrong with that).

  • Molson is not a microw brew it is a macrow brew. It is owned by Coors.

  • Molson is my FAVORITE microbrew

  • cool misogyny bro

  • Time for a purging of the political press corps.

  • Two more clueless, bloated, sexist gasbags from the Post.

Its ridiculous is that these guys purport to offer useful political analysis; how good can they be if they don't catch the implications of their own material?

Has the SoS done anything that implies "mad bitch"? No. But she's a woman in power, so of course she's a "mad bitch."

Media Matters should apologize for sponsoring this shit. They are supposed to criticize "news" media sexism, not sponsor it.

    Massive, unmitigated FAIL.

  • I'm not offended by this in the slightest, but it isn't very funny.

  • The only funny part was calling Clinton a bitch. While I agree on her for the most part it was still funny.

  • Calling a woman a bitch isn't funny. It happens too often to dismiss and dehumanize. Obviously, you're male.

  • Obviously you're not. It was a joke. Lighten up.

  • this is ricockulous.

  • uhh really lame

  • Media Matters sponsored this HORRENDOUS piece of crap?? I saw Chris Cillizza commenting about the Gates issue on Olbermann's show and you could tell this was someone who crosses the street every time anyone of a different ethnicity passes him on the street.

  • Nope. This Was WaPo. They pulled it down cuz of the 'Mad Bitch' reference.

Media Matter grabbed it before it was pulled.

    All these clips suck.

Do these myopic stuffed shirts read peoples comments?

  • Lame

  • If you're going to tell the same joke three dozen times over three minutes, you should make sure it's a really funny joke.

  • This was truly funny. Those that think it isn't should really examine how deeply politics has invaded their brains. I also love when JibJab lampoons George Bush. It's humor folks. Deal with it.

PS. If Hillary can't deal with it, then she's not ready for prime time either...just like her boss.

  • "Not ready for prime time"? She's the Secretary of State, you tool.

  • This video did not even qualify for low-brow humor.

  • Too bad You Tube didn't have a -* rating.

    This was really really bad.

  • The only bitches I see are the dumb bitches in this sorry ass video.

    *yawn* You're boring.

  • Umm...well that was...interesting...

  • sad. no wonder the post is a joke.

  • And THIS is why newspapers are almost dead.

  • Actually, I think what we're typing on right now is why newspapers are almost dead. :-P

  • And Cillizza should see somebody about that mouth of his. It's too small for his head.

  • These two should toast each other over schooners of Cringe-Worthy Dick-Nipple Lager.

  • Why do Republicans hate America?

  • remember when journalists were journalists and didnt try and be comedians. all these d-bags are just jealous that colbert and jonny stewart are more incisive than they ever will be. colbert and stewart are serious about comedy that's what makes them good. if millbank & cilizza were as serious about journalism as colbert & stewart are about comedy American wouldnt be in the clusterf*ck we're in now.

PS - millbank is pathetic. remember 4 weeks ago when said nico pitney wasnt a serious journalist?

  • You have to wonder, was there ANYBODY at the WaPo who even remotely thought this was, you know, funny?

  • Two dipshit, unfunny assholes.

Perhaps if they spent a bit more time on their writing and less on pathetic attempts at SNL skits, they might actually be worth reading.

  • Millbank & Cilizza = Diouche and >Douche as well as Fail Comedy Team!

  • two of the biggest losers in political commentary... Millbank and Cilizza give new meaning to the word "dork."

Can't someone at the WashPo throw them a few $50's so they can finally get laid?

  • Those are nice smoking jackets....worn by a couple of douchebags. Seriously, this is supposed to be funny? These guys couldn't write a 12:52AM SNL skit or even make a high school improv club. I thought they were reporters. Or in Millbank's case, envious MSM reporters who can't stand that bloggers can do better journalism than he can. What a tool.

  • Milbank and Sleaza could quaff their parched souls with a good dose of "Journalistic Integrity Stout."

'Course you'd need those little buds in your mouth to get any benefit, and by now it's apparent, particularly after this idiocy, that neither Milbank nor Sleaza possesses any 'taste.'

    Whatsoever.

  • What a disgusting duet. Jeebus. Do they know how stupid they are? Really.

  • dumb and fucking dumber

  • blah blah blah. wasted my time

  • this reminds me of the kind of stuff that the improv people at my high school thought was very, very funny.

  • What a couple of jackasses.

  • Was this supposed to be funny? No wonder newspapers are going bankrupt.

  • nice idea but not really that funny

  • that is funny.

  • cool, they mentioned Arrogant Bastard Beer. Good stuff

  • um... Gates ordered a Samuel Adams. Get it right. You guys are as smart as a crate of football bats.

  • They are just as dumb om film as they are in print

  • The Washington Post fired Dan Froomkin

but keeps Dana Milbank and Chris Cillizza.

The post is a rag. Dana and Chris are on the same demented plane as David Broder.

  • It certainly seems to be tongue-in-cheek, as well as non-partisan, seeing as they picked on Republicans as well.

It's not very funny, but I take this as a humor piece. It's not a piece of false news that needs to be exposed by Media Matters.

  • Sexist neanderthals! Really now, "boys"; grow up you litle clueless piglets.

  • marginally funny by marginal reporters --

  • I wish it were funnier.

  • That Russian Imperial Stout is so damn good. Too bad an entire generation of people still drink Bud Blight with all those great micro brews around.

  • A rather weak attempt at satire and humor. I'd expect to see this on public access, not from WaPo.

  • How about a round of "immature asshole ale" for these 2? Sound about right?

  • Beer? Why was the meeting not centered around sharing a joint instead?

    Mass madness, I tell you!

  • Trashy... Just all around trashy. WaPo should be embarrassed to release this.

  • Is it even possible to be more banal or douchey than these two complete douchebags? I mean, really.

  • These guys are mouthpieces. They've got that right.

  • they appropriately drank JACKASS oatmeal stout.

  • What I'd expect from two sophomoric frat boys, but from professional "journalists" at The Washington Post? Have to wonder what they were thinking.

  • Hilarious!

  • Oatmeal... good for the cholesterol.

  • "Untalented Asshats" is the brew for these two pasty pricks.

This is as creative and insightful as their writing -- these two are two smug, negative hacks.
