@firefly431134 Thank you for watching. Please be aware that the Suzuki books are pretty badly edited and not reliable in terms of accuracy! The Baroque style also requires release of long notes...

Sounds very nice. One question, is it okay to take time to play certain notes? For example, when you the take the repeat, the last note A, doesn't it sound prettier if you'd hold it longer?

This Piece is actually called "Minuet No. 3". it is in the revised edition of the suzuki book 2. Anyway nice virbrato and intonation.

Okay... This piece is actually by Pezold, as is the Minuet in G minor coupled with it in Suzuki book 3. The Suzuki books are notorious not only for bad editing (fingerings, bowings) but for wrong titles and, in this case, composer, too... I say it's by Bach because most people (including some of my students) still know by that. Thanks for viewing!

the suzuki cello books have all 3 minuets, the 1st and 3rd are in book 2, but the 2nd is in the 1st book. btw hes playing the 3rd minuet, but all 3 are very good beginner's pieces.

i oftin wondered the same things years ago, only it was moonlight sonata on piano that was my goal.. the song gave me chills- absolutely beautiful. this is from someone who listened (and listens) to screamo metal. even though 90% of your friends and family wont understand it- stay with it, go after your dream of that song that connects with u most. ull never regret a second of ur time spent obtaining that goal.and ill bet every friend that mocked your music will envy u when u can play it.
