  • why do they call it 16 meg ?

i downloaded the rom and its about 1.5 mb

  • @typeonegative71203 Fuck you typeonegative71203. Mr.Perfect was good wrester than super Cena guy!

  • AVGN always talks shit about LJN, but this game was awesome, I remember having blisters on my fingers by the time I had to take this back to the video store.

  • I WANT IT I WANT IT!!!!

  • In 1993 this was the innovative wrestling game.

  • My brother bought this game and it was a lot of fun. I remember the characters had their own finishing moves.

This game was a major improvment over Super Wrestlemania.

  • "6 men in the ring at once", kinda sad its still the same almost 20 years afterwards

  • rip mr perfect

  • As an owner of this game myself, I have to say, This game was "Absolutely Perfect."

  • OMG i remember this game it was the game to have at that time....

  • The Perfect Game

  • I prefer the one in the arcades featuring the legion of doom, ahh memories, I miss those losers trying to beat each other

  • Mr. Perfect is perfection.

    Not Dolph Ziggler. =p

  • damn that ring looks huge

  • Even the pixels are perfect.

  • It's perfect.

  • I liked the part where mr. perfect said it was perfect.

  • those were the days

  • rip mr perfect

  • "Steroids not included!"

  • @808jspekeg6 I knew that and yet I was so disappointed that Steroids weren't included!Dang it all!!Lol!

  • yea steroid guy act to kick ass

  • Hmmmm......LJN. Anyone who watches the Angry Video Game Nerd knows that this is always a bad sign.

  • Damn... I remember playing this with firends, and our finger would start to hurt after a few rounds. We played like we were going to die if we lost...HAHA!

I loved the Razor's Edge special move.

  • I always found it funny how Royal Rumble and RAW for the SNES and Genesis could have 6 men in the ring, and a ref for one-on-one and tag team matches, and all the wrestling games on N64 and Playstation could only have 4!

  • up to 6 players? nothings changed. :(

  • Maybe Curt Henning now should say that our modern WWE games are PERFECT. however if THE MIZ was on this one, who wants to bet he'd say it's AWESOME.

  • The Perfect Commercial

  • That's perfect.

  • This Is A Classic Every One Should Agree!!!!

  • @WrestleManiaX7Fan Dude... I was super excited about Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Gears Of War 3.

  • Back in the days when you used to get excited about games!!!!

  • 16 MEGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I still maintain that WWF WrestleFest (arcade) is the best..

  • I had this game! this is when the wwf was about wrestling and not about panther shit like it is now!

  • i remember seeing this commercial. and getting the game for christmas. its still a classic

  • best wrestling game ever

  • @MrWHOGIVESAFUK Wrestling MPire, Management Edition 2008 is the best wrestling game ever,.

  • anyone else notice the rainbow of shit?

  • Most of them are dead already

  • PERFECT

  • i had this for Sega Genisis ..... Classic

  • 16 MEGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • perfect

  • sadly most of those great wrestlers dont fight anymore :(

  • They're all dead now :(

  • 0:10 is Undertaker!!!

  • Majority of those wrestlers are dead. This job will kill your ass

  • perfect

  • Can anyone name all the matches being shown? A real WWF fan can get half of them....

  • I had this for sega genesis

  • WWF games were the only decent games LJN ever made. WWF Raw 4 Life!

  • It's crazy thinking LJN actually made a pretty good game. Nowadays with emulators, I can't play any SNES wrestling game but Super Fire Pro Wrestling X Premium which beats out most modern wrestling games. Still Royal Rumble was good for it's time and it was cool with the wrestler theme music in the game.

  • better than tna impact

  • 6 men in the ring at once...some things don't change in modern video games.

  • I kid you not, this game cost me $80 at the time it came out. Looking back on that time, I'm glad it's available on emulators. What were smoking to charge that much?

  • cant forget the......... PERFECT 16 MEGS!!!!!!!!

  • Awesome ad!!

  • WWF was the dopest shit ever and that Royal Rumble video game was the dopest shit ever!! Wicked memories! Thumbs up for 90's Wrestling and a BIG thumbs up if you ever dreamed of being in the ring!

  • @kantkeepstill have you seen this vid on you tube its called WWF Wrestlemania Nintendo Commercial bet you cant stop laughing !!

  • wowww i remember this game and now all those wrestlers are dead

  • i m shock people like this game more than smackdown vs raw

  • In the ring, out of the ring, out of the closet!

  • Man I wish we can go back in time!!

  • Lol I had this game, it was awesome.

  • @fishrule1942 i had it too it sucke d best ever wwf game was wrestlefest on the arcade this was pants .

  • jajaja q ccagada pero para ese entonses seguro era lo mejor de lo mejor ahora yo me jueggo el smat dawun vs ros 2011 ta re piola vamos BRET HART y MICK FOLEY los mejores,.,.

  • still the best wrestling game ever, maybe Im biased because I was playing it with my brother, who is dead now, but I still enjoy playing that fun, enjoyable and not complicated game

  • Tons of perfection in only 31 seconds!

  • NO HOLDS BARRED ACTION!

  • made by LJN FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

  • This was one of the best wrestling games ever. I remeber playing the hell out of this game when I was in either eighth or ninth grade. (Can't remeber the exact year it came out.)

  • Hey, if mr.perfect says its prefect..........then its PREFECT

  • I think the offscreen announcers were going through roid rage

  • [some mumbled incoherent mess] The Perfect Plex [more mumbled incoherent mess] And that's Perfect!

  • This was the best royal rumble game, because 30 men started in the ring at once. None of that one at a time business.

  • All I heard and saw in this commercial was.....PERFECT. =)

  • That's Perfect!

  • Absolutely Perfect!

  • I always found it hilarious how the box-art of this game had The Undertaker as shorter than pretty much everyone else.

  • I used to love CHOKING THE SHIT outta Mr. Perfect. Couldn't stand that guy - ZM

  • the PERFECT plex

  • Comment removed

  • I loved this game.

  • The perfect mullet.

  • that was actually a good game ( both this and RAW is WAR).

  • I think it's perfect, but I could be wrong.

  • Lol my friend and I used to play wrestle in the basement. If one of us was the undertaker or something we'd turn off the lights and fire up his entrance music on this game. Great memories.

  • I'll never forget feeling like the SNES owners got the best version of this game compared to the Genesis owners...

  • Complete Mayhem!!!!!!!

  • Wow I played this game so much when i was younger!!!! Awesome!!

  • probably one of the best LJN games ever made.

  • I loved this game, i spent half my time kicking the ref's ass.

  • @XXNeMo818XX LOL, me too. I did it till he walked out of the match.

  • Super WrestleMania was better as far as character selection - as video game technology improved, the classic wrestling superstars were going to WCW or dying

  • @ECWnWWF But no finishing moves.

  • Before this came out home wrestling games (except for FPW) were rubbish. This wasn't perfect but it was finally the wrestling game fans begged for. But yes No Mercy is still the finest wrestling game.

  • Notice I see a LJN logo

  • I guess they really only cared about WWE products, that the other games they made sucked.

  • @buggee1997

    AVGN would flip ^^

  • Yet to the fact that they say "6 men in the ring at a time!" that hasn't changed still.

  • The Raw version was the best WWF back then!

  • This is STILL the best wrestling game I've played.

  • RIP bret hart

  • You can sell anything if you say "its perfect"

  • HOLY SHIT THATS AS PERFECT AS 16 BIT WRESTLERS CAN COME!

  • This was such an awesome game. Good memories.

  • At the time this game blew my mind. It was so friggin' cool. Not only did it allow you to do finishing moves (which the previous game in the series somehow neglected) but you could also knock out the ref for the first time. I laughed until I cried when I first stumbled onto that one.

  • @Ratgrappler No way dude. Super Wrestlemania contained (somewhat) accurate finishers for all of the wrestlers. Also, there was an active referee who could be incapacitated.

  • @banasrab I don't remember that being the case AT ALL. If such features existed in that game, I never experienced them nor saw anyone else do it. But since I know that anyone can make mistakes, I'm gonna have to go give the game a whirl next time I fire up my modded psp and see who's right.

  • Damn. I can't believe we had lot of fun with these games in Nintendo.

  • Rest in Perfection

  • R.I.P Curt Henning AKA Mr. Perfect :'(

  • you want a perfect wrestling game play no mercy!!!

  • @ecwforlife145790 Seriously. Still the best.

  • Ljn bullshit not perfect

  • Play it on emulator today. Awesome game.

  • the 90's were the best time of wrestling in WWF/WCW

  • @virus55555 true but when No Mercy came out for the 64 it was on BROTHER!!!

  • @virus55555 since it is a fake,it was a fake and will ever be a crude fake.

  • @luiz152515 Oh no man, please leave. Not another one.

  • @virus55555 ....I thought the years of 1991-1997, largely sucked for the WWF. Even the attitude era, while fun, was low on good wrestling for the most part.

  • @flipgood89 Todays WWE sucks ass. All they do is make Cena a "star" and I use that term very loosely.

  • @vdoevil666 ...as corporate and unimaginative as the WWE is now, it is far, far, far superior to the days of 92-95 for both WWF and WCW, which were just unwatchable.

  • @vdoevil666 ....I hate how corporatized and unimaginative the WWE is now, but both WWF and WCW were unwatchable from 92-95...Todays wrestling craps on those years....Shit it craps on pretty much the whole 90s, until the Monday Night wars began to heat up.

  • I remember that commercial!

  • THIS WAS THE BEST WRESTLING GAME IN THE WORLD

  • Classic!

  • So many dead wrestlers in this game...

  • 16MEG MAYHEM! lol

  • This was much better than WWF Super WrestleMania. @ least this one made up for it when it came to addin' all their signature moves.

  • this game was fun, I remember playin it with my friends way back in the early 90's during a sleepover, we played it till the wee hours of the morning

  • It may look like crap in today's standards, but that game is still fun to play.

  • This commercial was "Absolutely Perfect!"

  • 6 man in the ring at once, its been over 10years,it hasnt changed yet

  • @USHARDY It kinda has changed

WWF Smackdown Just Bring it - 8 Men at once

WWF Royal Rumble (DC) - 9 Men at once

  • PERFECT

  • LOL @ Mr perfect coming out every 7-8 seconds !!

  • I think I´d rather play THIS game with all these great superstars than to play today´s SDvR with fucking John Cena and Khali

  • Man, I wish we had better systems back then. Would have loved to see these superstars and a storymode on a xbox 360. Not this crappy SvR crap. With John Cena and friggen Hornswoggle... spoiled kids of today...

  • I still have the Genesis version of this game...but never got RAW :( lol

The Genesis RR roster included Hogan, Savage, Bret, Hacksaw, Taker, Crush, Papa Shango, Razor, Shawn, Luger, Martel and IRS.

The RAW roster included Bret, Taker, Luger, 1-2-3 Kid, Doink, Razor, Yoko, Diesel, Luna, Bam Bam, Shawn and Owen.

  • LJN made a ton of shitty games but this was not one of them

  • that game was fucking awesome

  • 16 MEGS, HOLY CRAP! :O

  • I FUCKING LOVE THE WORLD WILDLIFE FOUNDATION

  • Comment removed

  • @wario22 WTF is that??? lol ;)

  • man those adds where so pushy

  • The Sega Genesis version had a couple different wrestlers than the SNES version did. I believe Papa Shango was in the Genesis version.

  • @LuggNutz09 The Roster was different for the genesis:

Hulk Hogan, Papa Shango, Rick Martel, Hacksaw Duggan, IRS but no Perfect, Flair and some others.....the SNES roster was better.

  • now THAT was a PERFECT SNES game promo! :)

  • I was so excited to get my first SNES and this game as a kid. What's it been, 17 years now? Oh how time flies.

  • This is easily LJN's finest game, though. Truly a gem. I might get my SNES out and pop this bad boy in.

  • @RatKing59 LJN made a lot of bad games back in the day, but this wasn't one of them. I like how James The Angry Video Game Nerd describes LJN's rainbow as a cloud of shit. Back in the NES days companies like Acclaim and Konami had to have extra publishers like LJN and Ultra because Nintendo would only allow a certain number of games released per year by each publisher.

This game rocked back in the day!

  • I have both versions (Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis) of this game and this is one of my favorite Wrestling Video Games of all-time

  • I actually had both versions the Sega Genisis and the Super Nintendo version. Both were awesome. The reason I had both was because I bought the Sega Genisis version with the money I got for Christmas and my mom bought me the game with my NES. So when I bought the game my mom's BF said. You're gonna feel real bad for buying that game and then I fought out why. But on the plus side both games were a little different so I still got a different experience from both of them.

  • AWA and UWF was better.

  • It's pretty cutting edge that this video game could have six wrestlers in the ring at once. Throughout the N64 era and beyond, wrestling games have only been able to have four wrestlers at once. The Legends of Wrestling series is an exception because you can do eight-man tag team matches, but those aren't as good as the THQ games.

  • this game was the shiz NITE back in the day! i miss the good ol WWF days!

  • Perfect!

  • people need to stop bashing LJN. they only did it because the angry videogame nerd does. this was a pretty good 16 bit wrestling game. it played more like a beat em up though. the only "real" wrestling game for the SNES was a fire pro wrestling game, and that was only sold in japan

  • Mr Perfect said it all the game was PERFECT

    R.I.P. Curt

  • Another game by LJN. To the trash

  • @TheMatrixpoophispano no this game was awesome you idiot

  • the only ljn good game?

  • I loved this game too bad HBK didn't have the super kick all he had was a dumb suplex. tatankas finisher was my favorete.

  • i loved WWF but WWE .... -.-

  • idk how many rolls of quarters i spent on this game at the arcade with my friend, amazing game and memories!

  • this game was the best when it came out, great memories!
