Taufik probably never manage to reach his true potential. Was watching his 2005 Sudirman Cup match against Peter Gade. Peter surf high and Taufik return with an unbelievable fast cross court smash. Next thing he did was pull up his shirt to wipe his forehead. You can see that unlike other badminton player who are really fit with 6 pack, Taufik got none. But he still got one of the hardest smash in the world of badminton. Compensate his lack of fitness with skills

well, lee chong wei beat taufik because he didnt give his all in the indonesian open, you can tell, while he plays, he is too relaxed against LCW, even after he lost in the 1st set. he can do better, but he didn't. Maybe he was tired or maybe he was not aiming for the title or what... it's not his best game, compared to his other matches
