thanks for this. now i know how easy it is for them to climb my fence. I couldnt figure out how they were getting my garbage in the middle of the night.
@MyTubeClone thanks for your concern but i have no intentions of moving. The bear got an easy meal and it was my own fault as I did not realize bears could or would climb a tall fence.

you can't be safe there because of black bears.
