Unlike you, you are torturing the grubs by letting them die slow by heat and pain.. Yea, insects doesn't have the same pain sense as in mammals but still fucked up to cook something while it's alive.

@lugiangdinh Exactly. They KILL cows and pigs for those who eat them. We don't fry the cow while alive. I try not to judge other cultures, but there should be a universal respect for life and the suffering of creatures. Suffering is suffering and cruelty is cruelty. That is a very crucial component of our discernment of decency and compassion as human beings.

@yatafa123 Do you think you could go to a local food market in Vietnam and buy for me 50-100 dried sago grubs and put them in a bag and mail them to me in the USA??? :) I am really hungry and I want to try them bad!! Plus, I don't see myself planning any trip to Vietnam anytime soon or possibly in my life at all for that matter..So do you think you or lugiangdinh could help me with this? :) Plus any other local grubs as well? :)

@terceldude it's really difficult to send alive food to another country, and also if long time worm will die and i think will have bad smell. In Vietnam import and export clearance not simple, take very long time and many document, If dont have the certificate of Vietnam Ministry of Health cant export and i'm sure USA will not accept to make custom clearance. Only come to Vietnam, i promise will invite you :))

@yatafa123 Please, pretty please with sugar on top?! :) It really doesn't matter to me how difficult it is or the smell..I just want the worms so bad! :) Actually the USA will accept anything except for bombs or guns or anthrax and stuff of that sort, and just raise them at commercial farms and feed on the same diet including organic vegetables and grains. When they are ready, just quick freeze them, shallow fry them and flavor them. ;) I could give you my shipping address! ;)
