@Pectoris4 Submission wrestling is not causing deliberate pain and injury. It is using your knowledge of the anatomy to make the other person quit. That is exactly the reason why the "tap out" was created to prevent injury. I've seen more kids seriously injured in "Pure safe amateur wrestling" than I have in submission wrestling. Ever seen a kid get dropped on his head and paralyzed? Yeah its not pretty, trust me. With submission grappling you can eliminate slams because of fear of a submission.

Yeah, this is a complete amateur fight, so not being impressed is fine I guess. They both did wrestling and thats about it during the time of this fight.. One of them wrestles for a college now and the other practices some martial arts. Give it some time buddy.

Thanks man, I've actually been working with some people, tryin' to increase my skillz. Jan. 1st marks the start of a new training period, so by summer it's going to be on. I've fought once so far, here at college, he was a black belt in Taw Kwon Do(e?) and he had good striking, but I took it to the ground, got side control, and finished him with elbows.

Can't say i'm an advocate for teenagers hitting each other in the wrestling room, that's how injuries and lawsuits happen, anyone can get 4 oz gloves and punch. But at least they weren't all cocky and crazy, they should find a MMA gym so they can learn safely
