  • You have beautiful dogs & I'm glad Chico found a home :) ... I adopted my dog from our local shelter about 5 years ago, he's a Tibetan Spaniel. His name is Shippo. When I found Shippo he was alone in a wet kennel. When we took him to the vet he had over 300 fleas and rice worms which a dog gets from biting themselves and eating fleas from doing so. Also because of his biting he had hair lose as well. he's 100% healthy now. Add him on facebook :) Shippo Ludeman. His page promotes pet adoption.

  • @HAWAII1611 We will go add him now!

  • poor little husky! im glad that he got a good home though!

  • Does chico have some collie in him?

  • @lol21223 We are not sure. He could!

  • @GoneToTheSnowDogs

He sure looks it. If you look at his fur and how low it hangs and the color and compare it to a collie there's a big similarity.

  • I have the deepest respect for people who adopt pets from shelters. When it will be time for me to get a husky, I will definitely adopt one.

  • @mechaart He did find a home

  • @mechaart ong tell me about it!!!!

  • How old was Chico?

  • @abab123x Chico was around 10 years old. He has been placed in a home!

  • *wipes away tears* I joined the ASCPA, and I got my husky from there

  • I saw this cat all sad in a small cage who had been there for 2 weeks and I went it and asked to pet it and she came right up to me and gave me a hug which I thought was weird for a cat, so I left and asked my parents if I could adopt her and at first they said no, so I took them to the shop and the lady was taking her out of the cage to put get ready to have her put down and we got there just in time to save her, and it turned out she was pregnant so we saved 7 kittens as well.

  • @Finchy000 That was very kind of you

  • Did Chico get a home???

  • @kota71923 Yes!

  • i am sooo glad he did get adopted! i had tears in my eyes when he was trying to get out. I love watching your videos and seeing your huskies. huskies are one of a kind and i wouldn't trade mine for nothing.

  • @dalejrsgrl1 Yes, he has a very good home now

  • omg they so cute

  • @marcosquezada1 Thanks. Just so you know, Chico has been adopted!

  • omg the music is way to intense but omg!!!! so cute

  • @Bakosmos The music is by Nathan Wills. His Youtube Channel is Paradigma

  • This made my heart hurt! =[ I hate seeing animals stress like that .

My husky, has an assortment of problems; sensitive tummy, neurological problems (their getting a lot better though), and psychological problems that she has triumphed magnificently since we brought her home (we're pretty sure she was neglected and abused -she took almsot a year to trust my dad and other men- she only weighed in at 39lb and now she weighs 48lb). Shes almost 6, and is a very well behaved happy sweet girl.

  • Shiloh has a very sensitive tummy! Chico is still at the shelter too. :(

  • When i move off base, i am definately going to a shelter to adopt a dog. I donate monthly to two animal shelters.

  • Oh, poor Chico! He wants to be free so badly. I'd adopt him if I could but I live in Ontario and I'm a student, so it wouldn't work out. So sad, such a strong desire to be free. I give TEN stars for Chico. Be strong, buddy!

  • He is still at the Shelter. :(

  • WHAT?! Aw, no. That's so sad. I'm still with him. Chico, I'll pray for you, buddy!

  • Well, we didn't exactly rescue an animal from a shelter so much as we rescued a cat from starvation. This one female cat showed up one day, and when we saw her, she was almost skin and bones. So, being good Samaritans, we fed her, and when males cats started popping up, we let her inside the house. She didn't run away, so we knew she was domesticated. A week or so later, we find out she was an indoor cat who lived in the house behind us. The owners had gone on vacation, leaving her outside!

  • A Rescue is a rescue! Be it from a Shelter, or from the street! Everyone helps!

  • True. It was sad though. We had to give her back, even knowing the owners had done the terrible act of leaving the poor thing outside. I'm just glad we took her in and cared for her. I would never turn my back on someone, animal or person, who needed my help.

  • that sux cause i would have adopted him if i was closer. im in ny

  • Yeah that would be a long trip!

  • What a shame the old owner had him for 10 years and just gave up on him.

Especially so late in his life, after 10 years you would have thought the owner knew what he had got himself into owning a huskie.

A really beautiful dog, im surprise no one has rescued him.

  • He is so playful too!! We took him on a mini vacation yesterday to the dog park. He is such an awesome dog!

  • aww does he have a home yet?? where is he at? cause i want him

  • He does not have a home yet. He is in the Huron Humane Society in Alpena, Michigan.

  • to adopt a animal from the shelter, is one of the best things u can do!

  • I whole heartedly agree!

  • I never had a rescue dog. My old dog, April, was actually a stray who wandered into our front yard.

  • Rescuing a stray is still a very nice thing to do!

  • Tundra's our marvelous rescue husky! His funny vids are posted on my channel. I posted his adoption day too!

  • I just subed your channel and will deffinately be checking out your vids!

  • What happened to him? Why is he in the shelter? Did he lose his family?

  • He was abandoned by his family. :(

  • This really made me cry so much! I feel so bad for that poor dog! T_T

  • So do we! I hope he goes home soon!

  • Why do all the animal shelters play really sad songs :( you feel bad enough that you cant go and take all of them home... every time i see that SPCA commercial, my eyes ALWAYS water!

  • I would guess. . because it adds to that dramatic effect? I know. . I cry when I watch them too!

  • My parents adopted our beagle from the animal shelter. Just in time too. The shelter was getting ready to send her away to be used for tests and other junk. That was nearly 6 years ago now!

  • Glad to hear they saved a life!!

  • This makes me want to cry.. I hate to see dogs in the shelter, If I could I would come up there and take him home with my, I am sure my dogs would love him...

I would take all dogs that are in shelters home, and give them a great home.. :) Thanks for the video Jessica...

  • I wish I could take them all home too! But I know that wouldn't be fair either. But I will do what I can to help him find a new home!

  • well i got my cat from my friend whos mom had rescued her so i took her and now shes seems happy. i would love to take in more animals but i would have no room.

  • Sometimes that is how it goes. But even just going and spending time with animals that are in a Shelter helps. Go walk the dogs, pet the cats, it all helps!

  • Man this made me sad again

  • *Hugs*

  • aww poor guy. We adopted one of our dogs from the shelter and he is doing good now. When I was younger we adopted a dog from petsmart that ended up having cancer :( so sad.

  • Last june we adopted our new dog Jessie from a shelter, she's an adorable 1 1/2 year old white german shepherd. once i get my camera working ill post some of my own videos.

  • Please do! We would love to see them! Make sure to let us know when you do! Post a video response! I promise to approve it!

  • I would really love to give chico a good home but at the same time I feel that...If I'm going to help animals in shelters that it needs to start at home. People are always leaving their dogs on the side of the road. I've adopted 4 dogs from shelters & 2 found me. I know this may come out the wrong way & I don't mean for it to. I would like to encourage anyone who lives close to a shelter to vounteer or make a donation. Go to the dollar tree & get shampoo & toys, your shelter will appreciate it.

  • Exactly!! Even if you can't take one home, you can still help! They need love and attention too! And if you can even share some of that with them, it's appreciated!

  • this is sad. i hate people who give up on their dogs.

  • Me to. And that is what happened with him. I hope he goes home soon!

  • This is too sad :( I'd love to take him but there's no room for him exercise.

  • @crapwad17 He does get exercise at the Shelter, they have a large fenced in area for the dogs to play, and lots of awesome volunteers that come and walk the dogs and play with them, but they all need good homes!!!

  • Oh gosh, I feel horrible, I haven't been able to get to the shelter in over a week, I usually take him up on the trails, he must be going crazy, I would think other people would take him out though, he needs all the exercise he can get!

  • @AliujFish I am trying to talk my husband into letting us take him home over the weekend. Just to get him out of there for a bit. My two huskies would adore him so much.

  • This video really made me tear up..

All three of my dogs are shelter animals, and I should have a video of them up soon. It's hard to see how many animals are in shelters and even think that some of them don't get families. I really hope he finds a loving family soon.

  • @InsomniacKitty My youngest sister went with me to play with all the homeless animals today, and she cried too. It's hard. I am the VP for the Board at the Shelter, and it's so hard. Many of these animals had familys, and they just gave up on them, or couldn't take care of them anymore. It's just heartbreaking.

  • so sad seeing him trying to escape like that.. they were meant to run not be lockdowned like that.. for these exact reasons is why its important to realize what your getting yourself into when you acquire a artic dog puppies grow up these dogs need a little bit more attention then your run of the mill dogs they need good excercise and a proper fenced in property not a 15 foot chain tied to a stake in the ground.. i hope people wake up when they see these videos

  • @OntarioUrbanMusher Exactly!!! We did play with Chico for quite a while today. And there are wonderful Volunteers at the Shelter everyday who give love to all the animals there, but it's still not the right place for any of them to be! They should all have loving homes!

  • Poor Chico<3

We got our puppy Mimi last April, and she needed a friend, so last July we got her a 3½ year old female husky Siru to be her friend. We got Siru from bankrupted husky safari (they arranged sledge rides for tourists). There was 85 huskys in a need of new home, which they all got. :)

  • @sazupupu 85!! Wow! I am glad they all found homes!! I am sure Chico will find a home eventually. I just wish it was sooner then later!

  • Aww this made me a little teary when he was trying to dig out of the cage. I wish I can take him, but I'm too far. D;

  • @xsimplyjuicy I have to admit that I cried too. It's hard to watch. Poor little man! He just wants a home! I will keep begging my husband heehe.

  • I wish we did not have a 3 dog limit in the county we live in, but we do. :( I wish you could take him!!!! He would love it!!! Such a sweetie!

  • @susanloveshuskies I wish I could. Even just to foster. I am still trying to convince my husband!

  • Id love to take him home and give him one, but im in Canada

  • I would love to take him too, but my husband won't let me. I would like to at least Foster him til he can find his forever home. He is an old boy and needs a good home!

  • Your right, I feel sorry for these dogs having to stay in a cage, and suffer. He really deserves a home. Keep up the good work though!
