dude, i did it to my 86 new yorker, it was a POS in my back yard. one of my buddies told me about it. it worked. its just gotta be a a chunk but like still a complete circle. not just a shaving of it. it works because the ceramic in the spark plug is more dense than the glass. don't w/e me until you've tried it.

I fashioned a slingshot from a mt dew bottle and a condom from my wallet. I busted in my car and made it home in time from Thanksgiving.
