My only son died last year this past Sept. 27th. Because he lives and Thru the fire by the Crabb family has picked me up. I know God is holding me up and I will see my Jesus and Justin in heaven someday. God did not promise us a life without strife and the worst thing that can happen to a mama happened to me. I still praise the Lord for letting me have him for 31 years.

The Crabb Family is Pentecostal, I believe. Also, I do not understand how singing a song in any manner (when it is coming from worship) could be called disrespectful. No matter if you like it or not, people who give their lives to a work obviously respect it.

Sorry to disagree...but I was raised southern Baptist and we didnt scream and shout into the microphone. We sing these songs with praise and respect. Maybe what you're used to is the new "contemporary" church or something. There's nothing wrong with that I guess.... but a timeless hymn like this deserves more respect. Have a great day.

I don't know what you mean by "contemporary"? He is singing this in true Southern Gospel fashion. Being raised a Southern Baptist does not in fact mean the you know what Southern Gospel music sounds like. I'm not sure what part of the country that you live in, however, in the South alot of our old time community church choirs and singers do sing very much like this. We are happy about what the Lord has done for us, call us charasmatic or even contemporary, but I call it that old time religion!
