  • such a shame about the weather!!!!

  • Cracking static. Looking forward to seeing this on the tv.

  • i was at this performance :) spent the day driving up to edinburgh in the rain and sat through it in the rain. but that didnt ruin the performance! great job guys! :D

  • The rain might have added to the ambience but i bet the musicians were not too impressed, particularly the woodwind players! Good video though.

  • The rain might get annoying, but it might also add to the ambiance, especially when the military pipe bands are playing. They usually didn't call off battles because rain suddenly appeared. I recently heard the pipers will play through any rain, about the only weather that will send them in is lightening.

  • we were there on friday 12th of august for the first time I also made a filmimpression of 18 min, not a real Tattoo fan but after friday I am. on my next holiday to Scotland I will try to see it again.

  • thx I will get there one day to see for myself>MY dad was in the Royal navy and served in ww2..All milarty music makes me very emotional..I am in Canada ..

  • My son just sat through this .in driving rain on the tenth and he still enjoyed himself

  • @lindatravissmtl If you see this in front, the weather somehow doesn't matter anymore :-D

  • Thankyou so much for posting this. I didn't think I'd get to see my husband play at the tattoo since I can't make it, so this video made my day. Thanks again.

  • @stumpyone10 its on the telly on the 29th brilliant show

  • @stumpyone10 I went on the 19th August2011. I have wanted to go for as many years as I can remember. I was very disappointed. I paid £117 for two tickets & a programme. So called best seats.

Stay at home and watch it on the BBC or even here on YouTube, the sound is much better.
