Well said; consuming as a live style for the enrichment and wealth of corporate power is an irresponsible use of technology, by 2050 the trends of population growth and de-ruralization of

2nd and third world; of China and India which has been occurring is unsustainable and guarantees a hockeystick curve. There needs to be a restructure of values from the top down.

I believe resource depletion curve and population growth curve are both rising. To make things worse the Chinese and Indians have been folllowing the pattern of de-ruralization with the migration to large cities and are consuming more in larger and larger numbers. Everyone on the planet living the American Life style will hockey stick the consumption curve. Cant be done. By 2050 without solutions and the sharing of new technology we are in for it. Thats assuming 2012-2013 doesnt take care of it
