  • You don't see the c02 tank sitting in the middle of two tanks?

  • Hi there? Do you by any chance have any sort of CO2 set-up for this tank

It is absolutely beautiful! I deserves all the admiration! Thanks for sharing it with us! Today I removed all the fake plants from mine and switched from gravel to substrate to see if the plants will stay alive!

  • @SuperBoricua61 There's a CO2 setup in the middle of the tanks @3:48

  • @SuperBoricua61 make a diy co2 system its less than $5 to make and its incredibly easy if your gunna buy a propper co2 system expect to spend hundreds

  • @SuperBoricua61 I dont know if he answered you but he does have some sort of pressurized co2 system since theres a drop checker in the tank on the bottom right

  • i really love ur tank

how much did it cost all in total to set up a tank like such?

  • How do you siphon the gravel? wouldn't it suck up the dirt?

  • This is cool, and I like your username. I also love the Glossostigma.

  • Wouldn't it be perfect if you a have two pairs of discus in this tank or would it affect the biological balance? I'm thinking about getting a planted tank like yours and having discus fish in them.

  • great job man, bet your animals are grateful to be cared for like that. they look pretty happy.

  • nice tank friend, do you get any algae issue with those 4x54w lights, i been using 2x54w on my 50g with some good results. am guessing you are using EI dry dosing, how much do you add every week? if you could tell me the exact amount, then it would be nice. i have problem figuring out how much am adding.

    thanks

  • this aquarium is absolutley wonderful! esp. for only being up for 6 weeks. the plant that is covering the gravel like a green carpet, what is that called? i would loove to put that in my 75 gallon. i want to heavily plant mine. also what are the names of the other large lush plants? and how did you get them all planted in there? are they all rooted in the gravel? please reply, i am very interested! i want my aquarium to look this lush! im sure my elephant nose fish would just love it!

  • k like wow.

  • what's the song?

  • What is the moss stuff on the gravel?!

  • love the tank. setting up a simalar tank next month. hoping to keep Black Ghosts, large cardinals, corydoras, cherry, mandarin and amano shrimp and maybe some more black neons transported from my 100litre. hoping to heavly plant it with CO2 ingection and brght lighting.

  • that green is toxic bright man! i love it, so so lush! 10/10. I hope my tank someday looks nearly as good as this. Be proud brother!

  • It's a nice tank, I bet it's even better now as the plants have filled out. I am curious, though, how many pots of glossostigma you started with to fill in as much area as they did at the time of this video?

  • love this!

i think we might have the same 55g lighting fixture

  • i love your tank and what is this song called?

  • what plant is that on the groun on 1:55? and do these plants grow? in colonies?

  • How did you get it that clear after using ADA Aqua Soil Amazonia , my aquarium is so cloudy and my filter doesn't seem to be work at getting out the dustiness.

  • what canister filter do you use?

  • Wonderful tank.

I like it how it is so algae free.

  • omg im trying soo hard to get this type of tank all my plants are dying!

  • @emo182kidd wat kinda lights are you using?

  • why do you have a net covering the wavemaker/power head? I have a similar wavemaker like that one. I actullay placed it above the CO2 reactor so it could spread the dissolved CO2 further. Beautiful tank though, it's amazing how it looks after just 6 wks. Mine has been set up for almost 3 months now and its barely beginning to take shape.

  • How many kelvin are your T5 light u using?

  • @haivang1 its better to use 6700k bulbs for planted tanks

  • what fertliser(s) do you use since you got shrimps in there? Ive heard theyre sensetive to copper so please let me know as well coz I have both shrimps and plants and looking or a fertiliser safe for both.

  • what is the carpet plant at the bottom that has spread on the substrate?

  • What are the carpet palnts called?

  • @Eclipse5800 Glossostigma

  • @zaracki92 thanks!

  • do you have a co2 system on it thanks

  • nice

  • O and what is the plant called on 9:18 ??

  • great tank... but please answer me, what is that plant in the front left called???? look like stars. please respond back! how come its so so so green color? mine is like a litttle dirty and green. hmm....

  • what power head?

  • I like the leaf guard on the current pump in the corner.

  • very nice tank

  • do you clean the substrate? I would like to know how if you do.

  • do you have a list of the all the plant species? by chance

  • What kind of filter do you use?

  • Are you running CO2 in this bad boy?

  • what kind of filter do you use?

  • Beautiful tank :D

  • Im into monster fish keeping, but im thinking about starting a nice planted community tank! Is it difficult to set up and maintain the plants? I think you did a great job on your planted tanks so far!

  • are there any steps for growing Glossostigma

  • what is that thing with the pop-sock attached to it, looks like a camera, prob just the filter thing

  • what kind of music would you call this?

  • beautiful tank :) I love how you designed it!

  • You tank is amazing! I just started adding plants in mine and I think my RTBS is nibling the leaves lol. I need new light too. And could I add some sand in my tank or do i have to start all over? Cuz I like the bottom on you tank. Can someone help me?

  • RTBS? What are those?

  • ferts?

  • Beautiful tank. Do you need to vacuum regularly? How do you keep the substrate clean without disturbing everything?

  • Can you let me know what kind of cam you're using? I'm trying to make my video more HD and I'm having problem with that.

  • That for a song plays?

  • wow very nice setup

  • Lighting position is very important for the vewing factor. I notice youve got your lighting way back. I allways position mine to the middle or front as this will not cast shadows on your fish to the front of the glass and rocks, plants, and so on. Tank looks very nice just a suggestion.

  • cool... what kind of filter system do you use? I have too much problems with my plants being sucked into the filter.

  • dude wat fish is that at 5:38 ??

  • i see youre using t5ho bulbs, what colors are you using? daylight? your plants look amazing under that light

  • Love the music.

  • 07:43 what is the plant that is attach to the wood .. with the shrimp on it? thanks

  • That would be Fissidens Fontanus

  • Thanks Man..

  • very good work

  • A nice planted aquarium ath3ist. For those out there that are interested in planted aquariums, take a look at the work of Takashi Amano. His aquascapes are simply brilliant. Unsurpassed.

  • omg! this tank is so awesome. congratulations!

  • someone please tell me the names of the green bushes right at the front left (of the monitor) and center. Thanks in advance

  • @rarityd The plants in the front left bush are Limnophila sp. ( not sure its correct name). The plants in the back and center are Rotala Rotundifolia .

  • Thx for the reply ATH3IST!

    subscribed =)

  • How often do you clean the aquarium walls? Do you get green algae grown on the walls? It looks beautifull!!!

  • I have Otocinclus and Nerite snails to minimize the green algea on the sides of the tank. But I do have to clean it once in a few months when the algae become too obstructive...

  • have u been able to breed ur nerites or tried to in brackish?

  • @ath3ist you should put a bristle nose (cat fish/algae eater) in there to help manage the algae but other than that its a very nice tank

  • Comment removed

  • If your looking for good substrate look in to flourite BUT MAKE SURE YOU LOOK IN TO HOW TO CLEAN IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • nice soothing music couple with natural harmonious aquarium, that's really relaxing.

  • 1:38 what plant is that?

  • @MicromashMovies Limnophila sp.

  • that tank is nice probally one of the best ones i've seen in a while! thats really nice

  • This is one of the best planted aquariums I've seen on youtube

  • Nice work!

  • Hi very nice tank can you tell me what kind of light watt k and bubble per second is it

  • where can i get those beautiful plants?

    thanks.

  • go to a aquarium supply store there are tons of plants ther youl find sothing you like there

  • wowo very nice tank, can you tell me how many watts of you light? thanks

  • gorgeous

  • The glosso is growing beautifully! I bet it looks wonderful by now!

  • Is it possible to put medium sized sand on top of aquasoil?

  • hey i've been to that aqua forest in san francisco, its cool..

  • how much did it cost for all lights ??

  • - nice plant, but there isn't look natural.. you should add rocks in the empty space..., it will make more stunning (for the big tank)

    - for the smaller tank is that taiwan moss? (attached on the left side)

  • i want one of these tanks but i dont know y you want that much of a current (refering to that fan) im a reefer and planted tanks are new to me so i know what the use of the fan is in a reef tank but not a planted. so can someone please tell me y the fan is there? is it for the movement of water in the substrate??

  • It's a Koralia 2 water pump actually, and yes it's for better water circulation so that CO2 and nutrients from fertilizers are distributed through out the tank.

  • in just 6 weeks ? damnn thats amazing. what kind of substrate, fertilizers and does it have co2. im really impressed. my tank have been more than a month and it looks like crap.

  • The main thing is the soil my friend.

I ahve one with this same soil, but i have a litle hard time to keep my PH in 6.8 or 7.0

this soil brings the ph down. You can uy this soil in many store in the US now. There is a very nice one in San Freancisco(Aqua forest)They ony use the aqua soil amazonia, and i dont think any one has a better reputation in San Francisco.if you aclos by go check it out

  • i was going to get the ADA soil, i dont really mind the cost because ADA costs pretty much the same, just a little higher. but tearing the whole tank down, have to move the fish, man thats a pain

  • I was reluctant to buy the Aquasoil at first as well, but after I've become so frustrated with the Flourite substrate, I decided to invest a little bit more. I think the entire substrate in this tank cost me about $120. Tearing the tank down was also a huge mess with the flourite substrate as well as keeping the fish in a large container for a few weeks wating for the tank to get cycled. :(

  • thats what i got right now. flourite substrate. ive been used them for almost a year. growing rate is somehow just ok to me. they are just like normal gravel to me. and i agree with u, the flourite is a mess really, so ur using ADA right now ?. hmmm i might tear my tank down and use ADA .

  • beleive it or not that takes alot of work to set up and maintain

  • GOD DAMN IT!!! YOU ROCK!!!

  • It seems that you are using, soi instead sand, and that makes a whole lot of difference.I am from brazil, and i have never see nice plants in the sand areas on the rivers,i dont know why here in the states, most people like to use sand.

  • i cant speak of sands popularity in the states, but sand is fine in a planted tank.

plants root very well in this substrate. nutrients are added into the water column and establish equilibrium. water passes freely into the sand and this means the plant roots have no problem getting essential nutrients.

i have been using sand for years. i like the asthetics. no big deal, really.

go look at my tank. nothing fancy, but plants thrive.

    bitter

  • I beliave your tank looks very nice,and i have 3 tanks.

    6 weeks?

    Lets see in one year.

I am sorry, but there is nothing like the soil. My sand aquarium is nice too,but the truth be told..if you dont feed them, they die.And soil i nver ad any food plants, and they still look better than the sand. One day if yu try the soil, you will never return to sand.Well this is my point of vew

  • Like they saiy:

    -Once you try the black"

    "You will never go back"(:

  • Forgot to menion,as you see in this aquarium on the tags he said"Aqua soil amazonia"

  • hello

  • Hello,how is it going?

  • hello

  • @mrcegodepenas AMEN. I am a dirt lover as well. I have to do some heavy water changes, but its worth it. check out my 220 with dirt and clay.

  • tell me the secret for noooo alge

  • Lots of plants

  • Wow both your tanks are stunning!

  • hey whats the ones on the bottom that takes up majority called? i guess u can say its the carpet grass of the aquarium

  • that's Glossostigma elatinoides . I only had about 10-15 plantlets in the beginning and that's the result after only 6 weeks. You can see how fast that thing can spread... I have to trim it down every few days now.

  • Wow. That is an AMAZING tank. Just beautiful. I see that your using pressurized CO2. What's your dosing schedule for ferts? I love the moss, and those shrimp are so red! What fish do you have in there other than the black tetras and neon tetras? I thought I saw a Florida Flag Fish; I heard that they nibble on plants and are territorial. Is this true? Also, is that a 20 gallon long beside the tank? What fish are in there?

Sorry for all the questions... I talk too much, your tank is just so nice.
