According to his research, the actors were required to memorize their script and ONLY the last 3 words before they were to speak, so that most of what they heard wasn't so much as acting but re-acting (if that makes sense).

The lighting is poor, the pace is too fast, the reactions aren't believable. The woman talks like she has cotton in her mouth.
Actors are supposed to know the script, but they're not supposed to _look_ like they know the script.
