@hiyoddo Down, but the wing suits are getting better. You may have seen this video by now, but if you haven't, check out one called "Jeb Corliss-Grinding the Crack". The wing suit he has and the way he flies it is going more forward than it is going down. I'm not sure on this, but it almost looks like he can cover 500 yards foward while only losing a 100 yards in altitude. It's hard to tell, because the mountain angle might be deceiving me.

@Torn80cj Corliss has said before that a good base jumper can move forward 2 feet for every foot loss in altitude, no wingsuit. A good jumper with a good wingsuit can do 3 feet forward to 1 foot loss in altitude. If I recall correct.

@aldodezani1 Its condensed air compressed from them falling, thats why you see small cloudy like after planes too

@Peanutman1337 its the exact opposite nothing to do with compressed air....its very low pressure air behind them (like on top wings). When they fall at those speeds, the region of air behind them has a much lower pressure as the air tries to fill the space where their bodies once occupied. The moisture in the air cannot exist as a gas at such low pressures and condenses in to tiny water droplets.....just like a cloud when moist air rises, the pressure drops and clouds form. OR...its smoke :)

@Universe407 Im 14 and its been the same for me only i want to skydive and do HALO's and things. Theres this site where it says i can be 16 to do a skydive. If you want to base jump you will need to have skydiving practice first, base jumpings much more dangerous

They say you should have a minimum of 500 jumps before attempting the wingsuit. The cheapest you can get all your own skydiving equipment is about 6000$. The cheapest possible parachute is around $2000. But don't skimp. Wingsuit, add on at least $2000
