Christian Bale is a good actor and he takes his job very seriously. When you're trying to do a good job and someone repeatedly sabotaged your shots, you're gonna get pissed off. For an actor, every shot, every muscle movement on camera is their career on the line because if its not good enough, tomorrow they may never act again. the pressure is high and not surprising he reacted this way.

It's very hard to get into character, have your lines ready when you have worked your ass off day after day and week after week virtually without a fixed resting schedule. As an actor his job is much harder and much more important than the guy he's yelling at.

Christian Bale is a good actor and he takes his job very seriously. When you're trying to do a good job and someone repeatedly sabotaged your shots, you're gonna get pissed off. For an actor, every shot, every muscle movement on camera is their career on the line because if its not good enough, tomorrow they may never act again. the pressure is high and not surprising he reacted this way.

@MrYeton23 Also, this guy walked right through his shot twice, this is not supposed to happen on a set if the guy is professional. That's supposed to be done before or after the shot is finished. It's very hard to get into character, have your lines ready when you have worked your ass off day after day and week after week virtually without a fixed resting schedule. As an actor his job is much harder and much more important than the guy he's yelling at.

If a guy behaves like Christian and gets fired it means that he's job isn't so important and he can easily be replaced. I used to dismiss this show as dumb and biased to only women. Seeing a few of these clips, I actually fins it interesting. I mainly side with Whoopi. She knows how things work. The DP apologised right at the beginning of the outburst, and attempted to settle it amicably, but Bale just kept on and on for about 3 and a half minutes. That's the difference. One thing I will say was that at least Bale's public apology sounded genuine.
