I believe that if you are intelligent about drugs then weed is not a gateway drug, because you aren't pushed into doing harder stuff unless you balance the pros and cons and decided to give it a try. personally i would like to try hallucinogenics (mushrooms, peyote etc) although my smoking weed had nothing to do with my choice, i had decided i wanted to try those long before i ever smoked weed.
You forgot to mention that the lethal dose for THC (the active ingredient in weed) cannot be measured currently, it is estimated to be around 1:20,000-40,000, so you'd have to smoke about 15-20 kilos in 15 min to die of THC overdose in other words you cannot OD on weed.
I enjoyed being a part of the 1% when living in Canada :) I am SO overjoyed that you are educated on cannabis, because I am an advocate- I wish more people would seek information and not follow what society has wrongly been lead to believe.

It's more addictive, causes real damage to your internal organs, it's socially accepted (so ppl drink whenever they want to), it's related to thousands of car crashes and violent crimes (barfights, rapes and the list just keeps going).

I believe that if you are intelligent about drugs then weed is not a gateway drug, because you aren't pushed into doing harder stuff unless you balance the pros and cons and decided to give it a try. personally i would like to try hallucinogenics (mushrooms, peyote etc) although my smoking weed had nothing to do with my choice, i had decided i wanted to try those long before i ever smoked weed.

You forgot to mention that the lethal dose for THC (the active ingredient in weed) cannot be measured currently, it is estimated to be around 1:20,000-40,000, so you'd have to smoke about 15-20 kilos in 15 min to die of THC overdose in other words you cannot OD on weed.

I enjoyed being a part of the 1% when living in Canada :) I am SO overjoyed that you are educated on cannabis, because I am an advocate- I wish more people would seek information and not follow what society has wrongly been lead to believe.

if you are going to bash a drug... make sure you know about people. id have much more respect for a person if they knew what they were talking about and gave me an educated reason as to why they think weed is bad. and people if you are going to do a drug at least educate yourself about it i have done several drugs for recreational use. IE: mdma, shrooms, lsd, and weed of course. o and i never got addicted i only smoke weed :) i don't even like to drink.
