@12Youknowit Ultimately, the blacksmith needs the materials listed in the video. However, I believe you can take titanite chunks to Kingseeker Frampt at Firelink Shrine and he'll convert chunks into shards and vice versa. I'm not sure what will convert into what and all that, so I'd suggest looking it up on a Dark Souls wiki.

@XxpittpensfanxX That's exactly who you are supposed to give it to, so you're on the right track! As for Smough and Ornstein, the Furysword (i.e. fire-based weapon) is very effective against them, as well as the Four Kings and Priscilla. Works well against everyone in general, but definitely great against them.

@XxpittpensfanxX Thanks dude! Yeah backtracking's kind of a bitch, but trust me, the sword is worth it; definitely one that's powerful enough to use throughout the rest of the game. Just remember: the more active humanity you have (up to 10) the more powerful it is, and when you level up, the damage on it will go up with dexterity, not strength.

once you ring both bells, you can go to the fire link shrine and go where the water was and ther will be a serpent thing that if you feed it Titanite chunks itll give you large Titanite shards

100% LARGE TITANITE SHARD drop!! its in the painting relm. right before the boss in that place there is a large knight. kill him then go to bonfire repeat. 100% drop WAY faster LIKE LIKE LIKE

i need help with getting the fire fury sword. i already know how to get it but i had some trouble since i accidently attacked the blacksmith before i even knew what the blight town boss is. i tried to recreate it using a magic ember with the new londo blacksmith. i have the soul but the option to make i hasn't come up with the giant blacksmith. i tried to use a magic falchion + 5 and enchanted falchion. i even tried to smith up another curved sword not in this vid. do i need the fire ember?

@Ramrothc You don't need the fire ember to make the furysword. You just need the large ember, which is what helps you upgrade your curved sword to +10. Then with the +10 curved sword and Qualaag's soul, you can make the Furysword. If you killed the blacksmith near the forest, I'm not sure if you can still do it. I suggested to others to see if the large blacksmith in Anor Londo, or the skeleton blacksmith in the Catacombs, will take it and let you upgrade to +10.

@masters5312 Are you in the Anor Londo castle or something? If so, yes you can. You'll eventually get to a large room with two giant stone knights where at one end you can open the main front door of the castle (which will lead you back to the rotating staircase and then back to Undead Burg) and at the other end is the smoky wall to Ornstein and Smough.

For demon titanite, you can trade dung piles with the squawking bird in Undead Asylum (just look up with Wiki guide for how to do this).

@masters5312 also demon titanite is dropped from those big stone dudes in the lower level of sens's fortress (not sure if they respown), if you remember there was one between the tower blacksmith and the darkroot forest too, sorry for bad english

@XxStonepoisonxX I honestly don't know, like I told someone before you, check and see if the blacksmiths in either Anor Londo or the Catacombs can still upgrade to +10. If they're still in your inventory, try giving them the Large Ember or the Very Large Ember. I seriously don't know if it'll work, hopefully it does and you don't have to wait until NG+ to upgrade it!

@elidadee325 You could try if using the Very Large Ember will let you bypass using the original Large Ember. It's located in New Londo Ruins after you lower the water level.

@Zachariah44 I don't know for certain, check if the other blacksmiths (giant in Anor Londo or skeleton in the Catacombs) can upgrade your curved sword to +10. The only reason I wouldn't think you could is that you give the Large Ember to that particular blacksmith.

@9cel46tic95 I don't think the butterfly gives you any weapons, but if you cut off the tail of Priscilla it'll give you some kind of axe I believe.

for farming large titanite shards it's also useful to equip the covetous gold serpent ring (sen's fortress, right next to the mimic that drops the lightning spear let the boulders break a wall) and 10 humanity to boost the item discovery rate.

you can also break up green titanite (you'll get a lot of those from farming large titanite shards) into normal titanite at frampt's

As stated by klintonG, the item is the Wolf Ring that boosts poise. Go into the area with the sleeping Stone Knights (immediately bear right down the path where the FAKE tree is -you have to kill it to proceed) stay right and go UP the cave/path. Be wary of Stone Knight in tight passage. FINALLY... loot the body and you can do a running jump back into the main area.

@zethca No, it has to be a curved sword (any of the ones listed at 1:41). You can upgrade the Iaito to something like Lightning Iaito, which a lot of people like to use (myself included apart from the Furysword).

the item are before you figth with the big butterfly you need hit one big tree where you figth again the colosus to your right is the tree, it moves you have to stick little like a secret door and disappears so you can enter

Ah to get that item you need to drop down. I think its after the area with the two tree dudes. If you look down you will see a red toad and drop down. Then I think there is a green tree that is moving somewhat. Attack it and it goes away. Then you will come to an area that will lead you up to the item. I think its a ring to boost your poise or something. Its been a while though.
