For the turists, THE OLD TOWN IS REKNOWN BY THE HUMAN POOP AND WASTE you can find there as the government gives a shit about the city's human healthcare. There are shits even to 5 floors tall! I recommend you to never go there, IS NASTY!

it wasn't ILA was it? I did a french course with them in Montpellier and stayed with a host family for 6 weeks, definetly one of the highlights of my travels!

It was ILA.  We only did two weeks; that was not enough. Another course might happen next year.

Fantastic city. I worked there for 2 years, and is an mediterranean village with the historic center closed to the traffic... good for life! It has many student life and culture life, museums, cinema, concerts... the sea! and close to Italy and Spain... oh I missed you!

Thanks for this lovely video, which shows many beautiful places of the town i'm so proud of...

However, i'd like to make clear that french people doesn't spend their time to listen to accordion,(What an old-fashionned cliché!).Moreover,the assertion that in montpellier, people get up later than anywhere else is untrue!Just so you know, living in the south of France doesn't mean that we don't have to get up and work as anybody else!Just come to visit us and check it by yourself ! ;)
