i want a band with old people (: it will be sooooo cooool (: like play with ur grandfather (: im 16 n i think it will be cool play on a band with a 50 years old person (:
Are 'they might be giants' considerably better than a savory beef-based snack? Are they more giant like than a big bowl of giants? Who came up with John's glasses, and if so what does it all mean...?
I loved what Flans said during an interview in United Kingdom when reminded TMBG was the number 1 American band in England. He said. "Yeah, but that's like being the world's tallest midget"
Y'all are going to think I'm nuts, but this is one of the saddest breakup songs I've ever heard. I can't sing it all the way through without tearing up, especially that bridge. Genius from TMBG! *applause, tossing roses*
these guys crack me up. and at the same time their music is so creative. i was listening to the episode of loveline from the 90's in which they guested. They were asked how they came up with their music, and both johns chimed "Lots and loats of coffee" lol that explains a lot, eh?
i love the way linnell was danceing and how flansburgh looked into the camera at 2:17 when he was in the boat thay're both so hand some and beutiful arent they?
im an overly obssesed fan of tmbg ask me any qeuestion abut tmbg ill answer without hesitation i can name 10 tmbg songs right off the tip of my tounge ok any one ask me about tmbg u have my word as a tmbg fan i wont cheat
This song really makes me feel good, me and my girl just broke up. I knew it was coming too, it just was'nt working out and me and her both were'nt ready for a realationship yet. Atleast we're still friends.
I'll explain any complex words so you don't get confused. I'm sorry is your weak little mind not capable (not able) of hearing lyrics (the words the singing guys says) with more common words than profanity (f-bombs and the like). Sorry you had to think. No there aren't any cusses, to bad you may have to think when you listen. Congrats on being a genuine (real) idiot. I think you meant to search Limp Bizkit and got the wrong band. I hope the fifth grade works out for you. Peace
christian rap is pretty bad, I went to a concert that featured some really famous christian band (dont know the name, didnt really care) and then it was followed by a christian rap band. Horrible. The two bands played together sometimes and the rap lead singer was SO full of himself. I think I remember some of the lyrics because he made us repeat them over and over:"dont stop the holy ghost rockin non stop open it up cuz its non stick like a teflon pan the great I am's got the plan the etc....
They're professional old people based on the Q&A from TMBG's wedsite. To quote the site: "They are professional old guys. The drummer worked for Frank Sinatra in the 50s. The bass player has retired from music and currently writes crosswords for the Daily News, and the keyboard guy is an actor."
that drummer is my grandfather, john blowers. he passed away july 2006, but he was an ace on the drums. glad you appreciate him. his fellow band members are equally as talented, as they too played with the greats like sinatra and armstrong. my mom recently showed me the video, freaking crazy. i don't get why they were included, but hey it's pretty rad.
Man, this song is pretty clean edited wise...compared to most They might be giants music videos. :p

i kinda wish the video relayed the lyrical mood of this song, rather than the musical mood of the song.
it's actually a happy video with a pretty sad song.
