now i gotta correct myself as the new pro tools 9 is out now- running native on any host - supporting asio and coreaudio and can be integrated in any production environment.so thumbs up - that makes a good programm flexible and free ourselfs from the bottleneck of the digi hardware that acctually doesn't sound as good as premium front end converters such as apogge, lynx and prism sound. thanks avid for open up this dope shit!!!
a protools from a digidesign this ... as we call them shittydesign - is an expensive mostly not very independent and flexible production system - as them only allow yuh to use specific hardware or some hardware that support their host, an even all the plug-ins much more expensive as you pay for the name digidesign and to use the software on their dsp's - overall i would by tons off outboard before running up a shittydesign an mix all in the box. as we analog-summing anyway .. keep up the sound!
