@javieradrianchomer Well, not strictly, no. However, try not to make a habit of lifting up all your fingers that aren't currently playing anything high into the air. I've seen that. Your fingers should stay relaxed and ready to play.
WRONG! don't listen to this asshole... he's obviously misleading you..... everyone knows all great pianist (phonetically: Penist) bang on their pianos (phonetically: pia-nose) with full force from their arms.. .that's why they go out of tune... that's the mark of a great pianist (phonetically: penist)
Thanks for your explanation it was very helpful. One question. whenever I touch the piano all the fingers have to be in contact with the piano keys?
