  • 2:08 Lucky child!

  • So, Eritreans are from Africa...(and look very similar to my African American family) but they aren't black at all?

  • We are not blacks!! We are not arabs!! We are Eritrean/ Semetic--please do your research. All of the african americans on here who are subjecting our women by their obsessive comments have very deep inferioirty complexes. Blacks in American dont even love their own women so so they go to other women for superficial reasons!!

  • cheken la rubia del 2.8 minutos en todas partes hay una no? jajaja

  • type in Layefa's wave summer joy

  • African women are beautiful...I am an African American and I wish the black women in America looked like this. They all act like there the finest things around but only a few come close to looking as good as these women in Eritrea

  • @ctaylor960 Um, yes African women are beautiful but not all African American women act like they're "the finest thing around" as you say. We are beautiful too. I don't act like that so I find what you're saying very offensive. Too many people make statements like this. You should know better.

  • check my music Tropical Paradise Instrumental/Electronic

  • i never knew that eritrean people ate injera.....plus why the fuck do u hate us ethiopians, we aint do shit!!

  • light skin african chicks are pretty

  • @FilthyRichPrick1 fuck u, africanwomen are pretty with all tones lighter or darker dont say stupit things like that.

  • bad music.... absolutely most gorgeous women on da planet! any of y'all wanna move to American?!?!?! lookin like Halle Berry!!!!

    youtube Comedian White Shoes

  • I have a question, do East-Africans perm their hair like West-Africans or do they have naturally straight hair? From what I understand the majority of E-A's have naturally straight hair.

  • @PersoAryanism If you go to their shops you find just as much Dark and Lovely and Hawaiin Silky. You also find lots of shops that sell hair pieces. That's right, I said hair pieces! They do alot of the things to their hair that we do to ours. Many of them do have straight hair and many don't, after all you're dealing with African peoples. The difference is when we fix our hair we're doing it to look more European, they do things to their hair to look more STEREOTYPICALLY Ethi/Eri.

  • @PersoAryanism that is, of course, assuming they don't have straight hair.

  • i never understood thsi stupid rappin the head with cotton shit wtf is up with that and half way braids dum shit how the fuck u gonan fuck a femlae with half way braids lol

  • 1:24 / 2:38 grl on the left ,,,,hoooooot

  • check out more video like this at ikonjit.com

  • Culture are flowing and sharing, that's no problem ya... ,, beautiful Africa !

  • just Loving Ethiopian Music !!

  • As a congolese I've been told over many years that people in the horn dont consider themselves african..is this true?

  • @PresidentOfTheBlack Some don't consider themselves African, the northern Sudanese for example don't consider themselves African they consider themselves Arab. Some east Africans such as Ethiopians and Eritrean's consider themselves African but think they are better because their features are more in line with Caucasians. it's fucked, But then again i see a lot black men do place a lot stock on such people and their features and wonder why these people come out thinking they are better

  • wtff???

  • The girl from 0:06-0:15 is sexy. Though I'm Ethiopian.

  • @MrLetsgotrojans EVEN ALL MY ETHIO FRIENDS ACCEPT THE FACT THAT ERI BEAUTY IS BETTER LOOKIN THAN ETHIO.BUT NO HATER TO ETHIO PEOPLE .WE LOVE THEM

  • Wow they never show the good parts of Africa like this video for example on TV here in America.

  • All cultures influence each other, specially neighbouring cultures. I feel proud when I see details that I perceive from "my culture" replicated by other cultures. It means that "my culture" is strong enough to influence others. But to speak of "stealing" is nonsense for all cultures are influenced by others. Or do you here the Queen of Saba saying to you that you stole her culture from her?

  • I appreciate the wisdom by which you speak. Thank you very much. I agree with this comment.

  • @MarginalMedia I agree with you. I would rather feel happy when it played every where.

After all we are same people!

  • @abeshaking370 THE FUNNY THIN IS AXUMITE KINGDOM IS AN ERITREAN KINGDOM(5 CITIES INERTITREA 2 CITIES IN TIGRAY AMALGAMNATION=AXUMITE KINGDOM).NO TIGRAY NO CULTURE WITH OUT ERITREA ,ADULIS ,KOHAITO,DEBARWA........)FUNNYY.POOR U GUYS YAWNIN ALL AT ERI TV AND ERI MUSIC.

  • @abeshaking370 you are so emberassing!! we stole a culture? wow you are just stupid!!

  • @abeshaking370 ... Wrong!!! Tigrinya-speaking Eritreans and Tigrayans were divided by both of King Menelik II and Italian colonizers. So, Eritreans did not steal anything from Ethiopia. "Eritrea" may be an Italian colonial name but the real name is Medri Bahri as a part of northern Ethiopia. King Menelik II should never have sold that Medri Bahri to Italy in the first place but now it is already too late.

  • @abeshaking370 YOU KNOW WHAT WE ARE TRYING TO BE FUCKING NICE AND FORGET ABOUT THE GAHH DAMN WAR, AND IF YOU HATE ERITREANS WHY ARE YOU WATCHING THIS FUCKING VID

  • @abeshaking370 they stole it from Nigeria and chad, because that's how they dance there called Sunglatrea. It means to walk with beauty and grace.

  • @4oldskool LOL really?

  • Hah im Ethiopian and yes, Ethiopia is freakin bueatiful

u gottta buy a ticket! XD

  • I love Ethiopia as much I love Eritrea. It's Africa and this is the most IMPORTANT. Honestly I do not see any difference between these two great countries and their peoples. Greetings from Mali

    God bless Africa!

  • @Timboctu2000 You are not seeing the big geo-political picture. Nor do you see the evil men in New York, London, and Washington DC who play with nations like so many chess pieces.

Eritrea's conflict with Ethiopia was the result of CIA meddling and bribes to keep the Soviet Union out. Now, we are using Eritrea and Yemen to control Red Sea traffic. The CIA uses mercenary pirates to harass Chinese cargo ships but clears ships loaded with Afghan heroin to pass through.

  • This is a great comment. Not as a response to the guy from Mali, but a great comment nevertheless. You are right, what historically has happened in the Horn of Africa is pure manipulation by the superpower nations. That doesn't excuse the huge damage the Eritrean dictator is doing to his people today, that uses that past to implement a despotic dictatorship. The ghosts of the past are used to justify the criminal actions of the present;-(

  • My friend, I understand the context of the geo-political. But the message I want to give is that we CAN live together in peace, solidarity and harmony. I want peace for my Africa, for our Africa which has suffered too much. Therefore, I feel bad in my heart when I see comments from some of my brothers speaking against the other country.

We are all brothers and sisters in Africa. We MUST preach unity and not division. That is my message. Thank you soo much for your comments. A brother from Mali.

  • @InfiniteMushroom Interesting and informative good comment.

  • The music was passed to me by a dear Eritren friend, maybe he didn't have in his heart the hate you might have;-)

  • if you like ethiopia as muchyou like eritrea say "ahhhh"

  • ahhhh

  • These women are HOT!

  • 0:37 is hot! i want her. 1:01 can get it too. oh and girl on the right in 1:20. 1:50 is fire. oh 2:03 2:17 & 2:25 can get it anytime. yummy

  • nice song. abraham g/medhin wedi adwa.

  • @kingAbraha yes indeed he is from Adwa/Tigray but he was well coached by Eritreans to achieve this stage and spot.....and u can listen to his Tigringa FYI.....any how we are also the same ppl more or less with different countries

  • @kind899 dont lie to ur self bro....abraham never been in eritrea and his talent has nothing to do with eritreans. do u know he is a good amharic singer too? drop that excessive proud.

  • @kingAbraha ......my English is very plain 4 every body 2 understand and in my comment i did not say he has been in Eritrea but i said he WAS COACHED by his Eritrean fellow and this is some thing that I and You should not deny as he admitted in one of his interview when this album was released......more over in my comment u had never seen any proudness....in fact I have spotted as saying we r the same ppl with the same culture BUT DIFFERENT COUNTRIES, if u can note the comment well...TC

  • I am Somali this is the best song i have ever heard. Your doing a great. Thnx for posting

  • @bardera21 am sure you do it's an Ethiopian Music. I'm sure there is not anyone out there in their right mind that would not love Ethiopian music

  • Wow! I'm a white Canadian but I want to fly down and find me an Eritrean girl! lol beautiful women!

  • nice song wat is the songs name

  • doesn't look like they age very well though;-)

  • Man I want some Injera and tsebhi.

  • 2 thumps up agin for Eritrean women!

  • These Eritrean people remind me of a mix between

Africans and Indian people /Arabic people .

But i think they are there own people and culture.

also check out Nipsey Hussle he is part Eritrean

    and he raps.

  • a lot of eritreans are mixed.....my mom is eritrean and shes mixed with italian and arab...................isnt nipsey full eritrean?

  • he is part Eritrean.

There Culture kinda reminds me of a mix between

East Indian and Arabic yet they are in east Africa.

  • Being an Ethiopian/Eritrean I think the culture is more of a mixture between african and middle eastern.

  • what are you talking about? We're Cushtic

you are mixed, the majority isn't mix oke

  • @eriblood well actuallly we are simetic

  • Eritreans and Ethiopians are a beautiful people with a fine culture. LET NOT YOUR DIFFERENCES DIVIDE YOU, but let your similaritiies unite you. Although you may never be one country again, respect each other and let not the african mentality aka third world psyche of 'im better than you' create hatred. Coz both will be losers. We Africans have to get that mentality out of our system..Don't take the mentality of my beloved country Somalia, which is now torn to pieces because of hatred..Peace ..

  • Yes yes fee love to everyone and stuff.

  • beautifull women for sure

  • crap no offence

  • do you know how many Eritrean died

for motherland Ethiopia. War is a game.

    why do Somalian fight?

  • hallo hear my new song

  • Why do you have an Ethiopian song on an Eritrean video?

This is Abraham Gebremedhin and he is full Ethiopian.

I think you should put Eritrean song like Nara or Hedareb that is Eritrean language.

  • do you know we eritreans are the real

abyssinan. Ethiopia is part of us.

    Wedibahre

  • hehe thats cute!

If Ethiopia was part of Eritrea than why did you fight for 30 years to seperate from Ethiopia?

  • Please explain how?

  • please EthiopianGirl123? if you are Ethiopian please have some respect for our brothers and sisters in de North. They can play any song they want , they can even come back to live with us in Ethiopia. They are our blood and people. I know some Eri and some Ethio Babo Ershoch .Want to spread hate all the time ..I don't get it.

  • Some of them look kinda mixed. Some probably are the habesha type that mixed with the horn africans. While some look pure. Decent video.

  • LOL! were are you from, Mars? Eritreans are habesha, and horn-anfricans. Please look up the map and see were Eritrea is. They look excactly the same as Ethiopians

  • either way they are still africans, the white man and arabs created to much division when they came

  • I agree i wish they few themself as that. Still alot of our brother and sister are brainwash. Hotep

  • loooooook she is so pretty!!!!! This is

the way i want it when i get married 2!!

  • you all of you idiot this is niether ethiopian nor eriterian culture this weading velo is from europeans not us

  • the girl with the kid is nice

  • don't cheat us Eritrea doesn't have any culture unless they copy from great Ethiopia or the rest.

  • I don't cheat, I film and show. Everyone has a culture man; and every culture is influenced by neighbouring countries. To say to Eritreans that don't have a culture is like saying to them that they don't exist. I am sorry if that is the feeling you might have of your "great Ethiopia" there in Canada

  • Isn't it disgusting how many people come on here, watch the video about something in-disputable, and have a whole lot of bull to say? ...<3 All love Eri-Haway!

  • get that ignorant comment out of here

  • U must be one of the ignorant Ethiopians!...Eritrea, like every other country, has it's own culture and traditions. None of the traditions are copied...there might be similarities, but how do you know who should take credit for which?? Some things aren't easily distinguishable! So don't embarass yourself by speaking through your ass, ok? haha..another Ethiopian that needed some knowledge dropped on their lil nappy head!!

  • Africas MOST BEAUTIFUL in order:

    1. Rwanda/Burundi

    2. Ethiopia

    3. Eritrea

    4: Somalia

    5. Sudan

    Sorry west...

  • the girl @ 1:51 with the blue top is the bomb

  • lol, thts also th tall grl in gold...

  • I am from Kenya and I think african women are very beautiful no matter where they are from. I mean, why would anyone think they are better than another simply because of ethnicity? Did we choose to be born into whatever culture we were born into? NO!!!!! So, lets stop arguing about things that we cant change because this hate could destroy any nation just like it almost destroyed Kenya in 2007. Learn from our mistakes!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Ya'll stop being narrow minded. we both love each other's music and music has no boundries!! respect for both the people of Eritrea and Ethiopia for the greater future!!

  • I couldn't have said it better, great comment zzebest

  • the language is tigringa which we eritrean people speaks.

that means thats is an eritrean song.

    aint that right ??

  • This is an Ethiopian song not an Eritrean song.

If the video is about Eritrean culture why do you have ETHIOPIAN music?

This is Abraham Gebremedhin singing and he is an Ethiopian.

Put Eritrean music like Kunama or Nara please

  • The music was given to me by an Eritrean friend and that's good enough for me. You might realise that these are two neighbouring countries, with more similarities between them than differences. I appreciate and respect your comment, but I think this constant focussing on "what is mine and what is yours" is parrochial and a waste of energy and time. You can find it in small communities all around, between people so focus on their own belly bottom that never get to see the big picture of anything

  • I appreciate your response but we are 2 seperate countries.

Ethiopia is Ethiopia and Eritrea is Eritrea.

I hope you can at least respect our Ethiopian artist and the Eritreans in this video by putting the title a little different.

Ethiopian music with Eritrean Cultural video.

    Something like that.

    Thanks

  • When we are going to learn from our mistake?

We are the same until colonizers devided us in pieces for their own benefit. When we r busy fighting each other: control our history, culture, resources...that why we r suffering all over the world they r living very comefortble like by our resources.

Wake up, there is no such,Eitrea, Ethiopa, Sudan, Kenya...we catch the hell racism, poverty all over the world, we r Africans, black, nigars

East Germany and West Germany unified in 1990...

  • I like ur Idea!

  • used to be one country

  • Dude when you label the video Eritrean, it does matter what is yours and what's mine. In that case why didn't u call it Eritrean & Ethiopian culture. Do the math buddy.

  • Eritrea + Ethiopia + Australia + USA + Canada + Germany + Ukranie... = The World (all these nationalities are included in this film).

Is that the math you want? Shall that be the title?

I appreciate your suggestion. I have one for you too: make your own film and call it whatever you like:)

  • i know right it an Ethiopia song

  • What is wrong with you Abraham Gebremehdin is An ethiopian but he's singing in Tigrinya Which makes it An eritrean Song thank you very much ..Trying to tell me That i dont understand my own Language I aint deaf!

    x x

  • Hey you agame, why are people in the effluent tigray towns listening to eritrean music and watching Eritrean movies.....and why are you watching a video on Eritrea?

  • why do you love ethiopian music like tigrigna and amharic?

  • wasnt Eritrea part of ethiopia until 1962 it was the 14th providence so i mean im sure the culture adn relationships amongst each other would be similiar or bear some resembelence

  • Yea, Eritrea was a province and identified as a sub-culture b/c of eritrean's dis-approval with the merging with Ethiopia. The U.N thought that would make Eritreans a little more pleased with the outcome! I'd like to think we're the same out of the kndest of my heart, but...we're not! Ethiopians claim that, but the only reason why we were given to Ethiopia is because they wanted access to the ports. Proof of this is Haile Selassie said,, " I just want the land, not the people!".

  • Look it up folks: Haile Selasie was pro-money and not pro-people, Eri or Ethio. It's a shame that side of him is largely unknown to the public. Keep spreading truth, Az.

  • Thank you girl!...People need to stop ignoring the truth and see it for what it is!!...YOu don't believe what I say?...Its all good! Just make sure you look up some credible information and be well educated about this or any other topic to save yourself the humiliation. Hopefully if we spread the truth with proof...people will actually listen!

  • These ppl are not Eritreans! They are ethiopians loco! We dont dress dance or look like that..jesus

  • Could be right but we resemble each other so you dont know that for sure.

  • These people are mostly Eritreans: some of them born and raised in Eritrea, some of them raised in Ethiopia, some of them born from Eritrean parents but overseas, have never been in Eritrea... and the place, of course, it is not Eritrea.

You know Eritrean history, you know that nearly half of the Eritrean population lives abroad (and you know the reasons why)... so why this constant useless polemic about what is Eritrean and what is not?.

  • The culture of a nation is the culture of its people. Eritrea is, and always will be, a society of varied backgrounds and cultural influences.

All this trend of trying to establish what is Eritrean and what is not only favours the current Eritrean dictator, that is happy to take the money from people in diaspora while wanting to write them off as no Eritreans, so their more democratics opinions and views are disregarded as being "no Eritreans", enemies of the state.

  • Comment removed

  • yes we are blk.

my dad is eri and he says we are blk race.

so plz stop with the ignorance!

  • why do people confuse nationality with race? rufael1 you should erase that comment, it makes u sound uneducated.

  • hi god bless u

  • Beautiful video! People always mistake me for eritrean/somalian but I guess its all good!

  • Thanks so much, and may God bless you for the true.

  • Never knew eriterans are muslims. Why do your women keep their heads covered; thought you guys are christains

  • Christian orthodox are covered it is written in the bible

search it up , even white christians in the States are covered

  • There is no hate in here, it is just tough love for one another. Families and married couples also argue and disagree and sometimes fight. That is an indication of close relative.

    AFRICA UNITED!.

Dedication to Malcolm X, Marcus Garvey, Bob Marley, Dr. Martin L. King.

  • Joder! como estan estas chicas.

  • hahahaha coffee ceremony is ethiopian traditional culture not eritreans.

  • mixed arab and african..beautiful people hey

  • To all. When will African people stop looking down on and hurting each other? I'm from America...but make no mistake, I'm African. Thourghout history, haven't we been abused by every other group under the sun. Bottom line is, whether you are Eritrean, Ethiopian, Afro-American, Afro-British or Afro-Brazillian, we are all Africian. Let's stop hating each other and start loving one another. As a reminder, if a group of Nazi were to show up, we all would end up the same mass grave...get it.

  • i like ur comment. exactly.

  • nice

  • I love Eritrean Culture - Women yet i hate when they look like so called white woman and when they will not marry other so called afrikans from the motherland ......

  • if it wasnt for us yall wouldnt even be here... instead of hatin and disagreeing who is better yall better recon that we made yall and thank us even for giving you your own country..... but i got much love for you and respect... we all are the same ethiopian or ertirean our roots trace back to the same place and people.... so much luv

  • This is how hatred gets started. Eritrean women are beautiful, but so are women of every culture. I have several Eritrean (and Ethiopian) friends and no one would see me and think I was anything different. But I am not African. What does this mean? It means that where you come from means absolutely nothing in terms of outer beauty. I've seen some stunning Eritrean women, then again I've seen some plain ones too, just like you'll see in EVERY culture.

  • Love my people most beautyfulll aiiiii proud to be eritrean

  • I was just in Asmara last week. I think he's talking about the preference with halfcaste girls. Most Eritreans esteem halfcaste eritrrean-Italian girls. More so than darkerhued Eritrean girls. But that's normal in ost black african cultures.

  • lady in the end w/ the pink hoodie, lookin flyy ;) rarrrr

  • yall have beautiful hair

    for realz

  • its cool but why do these ethiopian people and eritireans think they are better than other african casue they are light skinned

  • This is true, but you must understand that lightskin blacks thinking they are BETTER than dark blacks is true of MOST black cultures. Remember, the lighter, the closer to WHITE. Blacks secretly worship White people. White people are more likely to befriend, hire and accept lighterskin Black people. Look at how black people, including Eritreans and Ethiopians WORSHIP AND PRAISE the lighterskin babies AS CUTE. If Obama was as black as Flava Flav, do you think white people would vote for him?

  • I believe if mainly darker skinned people were leaders in the world economy, this would be the complete reverse. I think it has nothing to do with skin color, and everything to do with power. Darker skin = protection from UV rays, ages slower, and IS beautiful..but systematic brainwashing and cultural assimilation have caused many cultures to forget how awesome dark skin is. I'm sure cultures are nearing this realization.

  • I'm all for speaking equality of people of all colors, and I don't think I'm better than anyone. There are full-blooded blacks who are lighter than me and I get that same "better than you" vibe. It's sad but true that many lighter complexioned people feel some type of superiority. But just know that we're not all like that. I married my sexy brown hubby and I wouldn't trade him for the world!

  • It matters not comrade. In this ethnic soup we call Earth everything will eventually resort to the dominant gene through glorious racial assimilation, weather the end result be white black or brown.

Lord I sound like a communist sometimes.

  • Nice weeding, but why an Ethiopian singer was chosen?

we've got many brillent eritrean singers, we don't need none at all from ethiopians,

    especially at this situation.

We should never forget the past, the present

  • What a nice vidio to see.Shikorintat Eritrawiyan REHUS GAMA YEGBERELKUM.

  • personal video huuuuu!!

  • this is like one big family ah? way kool,

  • beutiful women indeed! but I thought the singer was ethiopian tigraway (agame)? Other Eritrean song could have been better!!

  • I can't differenciate between an Ethiopian and an Eritrean singer or song, sorry. And the Eritrean friends that pass me the music either don't have the difference also clear or they don't care much about the difference at all.

Maybe I should have titled this series "Eritrean & Ethiopian Culture" Thanks for watching:)

  • That was a very polite and appropraite answer.

  • Eritrean music tends to keep the same drum beat rhythm

  • dont understand me wrong but you cant titteled it Eritrean & Ethiopian Culture, b/c i see there BELEN Eritrean Ethinc group and not Ethiopians thatsway it would be rediculus.

  • It does not matter who sings the song. Eritreans understand the lyrics so what is the problem.I heard alot of Eritreans enjoy Abraham Gebremedhin's music.

  • We are equall !! Eritrean women and men are equall. You can go back to Eritrea and prove that,,, thanks for post this.

  • what is equal....really?

  • It never pays to be metaphorical man.

  • lucky i'm not looking to be paid then hey ;-)

  • nice!! Long live Eritreans!! May God/allah Bless you<-where ever you are.

  • our name for God is Io whatever the name we call the creator, his love is ours regardless of our actions his love is there, even if we fail to see it, its always there. i think thats what this person was trying to share

  • MarginalMedia: Good stuff. Really good stuff. Excellent music. Even better footage. And the portrayal of our sisters and mothers is sublime. NOt as sexual objects, but just as people. Plain and simple. Thanx so much.
