FOOTBALL SPY UPDATE: 6pm GMT: Manchester City, Tottenham and Aston Villa have been linked with a move for Spain Under 21 defender Sergio Sanchez.
The 23-year-old is reported to have a release clause set at about £5.1million, but he could be available for nearer to £3.5m.
City boss Mark Hughes has contacted Espanyol and expects to complete a transfer in the next few days, according to Spanish sources.
