I got a lot out of the Landmark experience....andI was open to it and ready, willing and able to accept a view of life that was different than the one I had. Those negative comments seem completely unrealistic to me and strange.

this course is up to you.but im warning you. this shit ruined my dad. look at the evidence befor you sign up. its a straight cult, and i guarantee they will delete this comment because of the fact they want to keep it hidden for the income. its up to you really, but have a look for videos or evidence befor you make a decision. i mean if there really trying to spread the love why are the courses 500$+ for 1 weekend? think about it guys.

landmark is a total scam, in the forum they will immediately go on to hard-sell the next course, and they will tell you that the 2nd course is where the real results are. and in the 2nd course they will tell you the 3rd course is the most powerful. and then by the 3rd/4th course they will have you convinced that only by working for them for free, cold calling people to do the forum, will change happen in your life. such BS

@croydonjohnny - People have the experience of getting out of a trap they didn't know was there, even without the Landmark Forum. A person gets out of a bad relationship, and suddenly find herself saying, "what was I thinking?". The difference with the technology offered by the Landmark Forum is that you develop the capacity to intentionally uncover the trap, and then create the breakthrough. You don't have to wait for a breakup, or for the stars to align. That's living life with power.

@MetalAaron I spent £345-00 in January 2008. A year later I reviewed the Forum and the cost was £190-00. In February I chose to participate in The Advanced Course which cost me £450-00. The Forum is standalone and many people dont go on to particpate in further courses. I got completion during Forum in 1998, and this is what I was refferring to.

How does it make you feel to know that this corporation was kicked out of France and Sweden for breaking their labour laws, with practices that also done in their offices internationally? Their Landmark Assisting Program basically just acquires volunteers to run their company; graduates so enamoured with the corporation that they'll work for free. A corporation which doesn't even pay minimum wage? Dodgy, exploitative and manipulative.

You just said you spent £345, £190 and then £450 on Landmark Education. That amounts to £985, nearly a grand. It's still relevant to the forum to mention Landmark's gross manipulation, and exploitation of 'assistants'.

You don't really have anything to respond to that, because if you did you'd just recognise how you are a sucker who has funded an exploitative corporation.

@MetalAaron I have assisted on the Assisting Programme and I see it as a case of one hand washes the other. I assist and get to sit in on courses at no cost. The methodology I was trained for in assisting, is methodology I use in my own life - applying the distinctions to real life. I dont know about labour laws, I speak only from my experience.

That's a great business model. Run a course for little cost, charge hundreds and get the graduates to give their work for free. So not only huge profit but also free labour. Tenacious, those guys must be quids in.

They make a difference in peoples lives. Who cares if they make money, I dont. I have a new life and it has been worth every penny and more.

Firemen and police officers get a scholarship and do the Landmark Forum at no cost. Others pay. We live in a culture where money is a big deal and almost everything costs something. Landmark did not invent how we all are about $. Like it or not , it is the way we are, it is not great IMO. but if anyone has any other ideas I would love to hear them? What should be free and what should be paid for? I would like to see all medicine , housing and food be free .

My problem isn't that people pay loads for it, it's that the Landmark Education corp gets paid all this cash and yet still recruits volunteers. That's crazy, to not even pay these assistants a minimum wage. Sure, some companies offer short unpaid internships; but not CORPORATIONS. I've never heard of this exploitative business practice before committed by a corporation. Dodgy.

that is your problem of course, and I don't want to take that away from you, but I want to offer that skiiled educated well informed and already very busy people make a choice to assist and are ok with it. I am one of those people.It is not a problem for me. There is a reason Landmark hs one of the largest assisting programs in the world. The training is amazing .

@MetalAaron ~ That's bullshit and a huge misconception. I payed for my first Forum with an unemployment check. The success I've had since then came through utilizing the tools available through Landmark Education. You don't sign up for anything if U don't want to. You'll be encouraged to continue, & the experience is invaluable. It's all a personal choice. Most all of my management skills came through assisting @ Landmark. Don't knock it until you've thoroughly investigated it. Open minds rock!
