  • It's funny that the instructor doesn't know how to count. He says to do 15 jumps and the kid did 16. That must be the "Trainer's Dozen" (much like a Baker's Dozen).

  • ok this is great and all but this is not plyometrics , plyo is when you barely touch the floor .

  • lol this guy cracks me up

  • drop your hips back like when doing a squat with good form so your knees dont go so far forward. The further your knees go past the line of your toes the more shear force will act on the joint which can lead to injury . A wider stance would probably be a good idea too. :)

  • working out with Avril lavine music :D

  • "heck yeah!" Napoleon Dynamite!

  • is that your son?

  • this kid needs to drop into a better squat position with his knees back. what he's doing is gonna kill his knees

  • @jumptrainee1 should your knees be pointed more outward?

  • i think it works but if u wanna get more vert u should use legpress or do the air alert programm

its much betta than this knee busting shit!

  • doesn't that will stress your knee. I learn parkour and they said jumping and land with knee that is more than 90 degree will stress your knee

  • @BCBDBC strength your knees and it wont happen

  • @hERbhelp thats not always true

  • That's nice and all that but it's way too slow to be plyometric training.

  • Dr. Tim, again, nice demonstration. Can you please tell me how the myotatic reflex is activated? myotatic reflexes are not the same as deep tendon reflexes, but they still are reflexes. If the change of direction doesn't happen instantaneously, the reflex dampens out to nothing. And if that happens, you don't have a plyometric exercise. Since it's nearly impossible to have an instantaneous change of direction, (i've never seen one) how then does the reflex get set off to make this plyometric?

  • Nice exercise, good demonstration. This is a simple body weight exercise. this is not plyometrics. The reason is because while you have the eccentric stretch on the quads and hip extensors, (and maybe the calves, couldn't tell, he looked flat footed), followed by the concentric part, the myotatic reflex, which is supposed to be involuntary, is not being set off. When you know which movements are coming next, and when you do these over and over again, the reflex threshold is suppressed.

  • i just tried it too, pretty ggood but damn am i tired

  • why is the instructor wearing work boots

  • those are tims my nigga

  • @chrismelanie well it's a " work"out :D

  • I just tried this shit, Its pretty Good
