At least in the part of Canada that I live you see more Deere and Cat excavators than any other brand.

In oder of most popular...Deere, Cat, Volvo, Case, Hitachi, Komatsu, Link Belt, Kobelco, JCB, Liebherr, Doosan, New Holland, Terex... the other older or unknown brands like Samsung, Koehring, JSW and whatever else. List does not include mini excavators.

I am not really putting komatsu down, but not only do Link-Belt's last longer than Komatsu's, but Link-Belt's get a job done real fast without using a lot of fuel. Overall, Link-Belt's run really nice.
