Much better than 2008! Like them all, but you can really see an improvement in your work each year. I use the same walls you do, and they work perfect. I do home haunts and we do it free and that is how the 'bigger kids' get their candy. I started at age 13 and now i'm 18. Good luck on your future plans!
@garystepp Thanks man. Check out the 2010 haunt, we moved to a different location. Keep an eye out for this year's haunt walk-through, our theme is Twisted Fairy Tales, and it is bigger and better.
so good it could be a professional haunt. Im british so im not sure about how the rules go in your neighborhood but could you get a license from local authority to open this to the public and charge an entry fee? Its very worth the money, my friend :D
@coasterman59 Trying to copy saw? No not really, it was a part of the scare, but now that I think about it, yea that was from a Saw movie. If you were smart, you would realize it was a clown scene and know that there would be no way it was a ripoff of a Saw scene. We don't try to do scenes from movies in our haunt. What do you do in your haunt?
Hey, just wondering what you use for walls? i do a small haunt in my yard but i just use garbage bags and sheets, and im looking for better "walls" to use....
@KKCIRCUSPHREEX your better off using a nice thing ply-wood wall. Its Sturdy and you dont have to wory about ripping. He used plastic sheting, but you should only use that on the spots where actors are gunna pop out. Have fun, and scare people(:
@scarygoat88 I can agree, but if you have to be on a budjet then you just dont need to make a Haunted House. If so props start to look genaric and fake, and its not as fun. Ply-wood walls would be best and the blck sheeting for entry points and room spliting and for pop out spots.
@lilblaze1008 If you want to make a home haunt GO FOR IT! Don't tell people they shouldn't if they are on a budget, most people that have a haunted house (pros too) have budgets, you kind of need one. For a haunt like we did, black plastic walls worked fine. Would I rather have wooden walls? Yes. But at the time the walls we did were our best bet. This year we will be working with the YMCA on their haunt so we won't have to worry about that.
@lilblaze1008 Like I already told you ply-wood walls are best. But if he is using sheets now, I doubt he will have the budget to use wooden wall panels because that also means he will have to build a whole modular wall panel system. If you are one a budget look into 6 mil black plastic sheeting, it isn't the best, but it may work for what you are doing. If you have any questions, just PM me.
cool, i wished i lived closer im starting my own this year... ill have a day time walk through and i will have some of me scaring people!!!!! using some of your ideas if you don't mind like the end with the sheets in the day
Yea we will be using all the same props plus more. I am working on some new masks/props for the haunt that will also be for sale, including my new line of prop weapons. We will also have a new indoor location this year!
ok um what tyep of rooms are the for my altime favorit is the the dark conor with a pereson in all black that jumps out also practis scaring if u have 2 latters make a wall where ur behind it on the later and scream down at the get like an 8 ft latter to do that also scince ur using plastic have tasals haing down i like to have and over undere it called have some up high on a latter and have a flap cut buy peoples feet and when there rite in front of u both scare at the same time

Hey how did u build it. Was the wood in the ground? And what kind of chainsaw was it. Awsome!
AHurricaneProduction 1 year ago
@AHurricaneProduction The wood was in the ground. And I think we were using a Stihl model chainsaw, no chain of course.
scarygoat88 1 year ago
that was good but try adding some real actors its not as scary when it is a maniquin
CoolStuffUnlimmeted 1 year ago
@CoolStuffUnlimmeted Like I said in the description, there was no actors in this video. We had actors when we were open.
