@zboyco oh ok i was pretty sure that it was double action but when i saw this video i thought it was single action and have you ever thought of buying the 629 stealth hunter
I hope you don`t mind some constructive criticism.
I think you have too much finger on the trigger. Try just putting the very tip on it and when you pull it , pretend you are touching that finger tip your eye.
I believe you will see an immediate improvement in accuracy.
why does everyone keep asking if its single action? obviously its double. but anyone who really knows firearms understands that using the single action produces higher accuracy.
@kiknchikn2060 most modern revolvers today are made in double- and single-action together. the da has a pull of about 10-12 lbs and the sa has a pull of 4-6lbs, because the hammer was manually pulled back
@kiknchikn2060 Someone who wants a trigger pull with no creep or overtravel, likes the balance and handling of a single action grip frame, and doesn't want the added bulk of a double action revolver.
does anyone know if the porting makes you lose or gain velocity with your bullet? I want to deliver all the energy i can to a attacking bear is why i ask.
its not an auto loading blowback operated gun like an auto pistol. technically it works like an auto in the aspect of you just pulling the trigger as fast as you want to fire until empty
Yes I know what you are talking about. I used to have one of these, but it was Semi-automatic. I had to get rid of it though, everytime I would fire fast I would shoot a hole thru the roof at the range.
But you are right, I had the exact model that you speak of...
It also had a cylinder like this one only it held 12 rounds... So I can see where you might get confused on this not being a semi-automatic version...
@ChromeGhost0219 Mateba revolvers probably, Webley-Fosbery also made a semi auto revolver around the turn of the 20th century. Essentially it uses the recoil to cock the hammer, so you get to shoot SAO without cocking the hammer.
im thinking about gettin a s&w 629 classic with a 8 3/8 barrel i was hoping you could give me a idea on how acurite thay are and also the gun im thinking about getting is $600 and its mint can you tell me if thats a good deal
zboyco, your videos have helped ensure that I will be in debt in the very near future. :) As if feeding an AK isn't expensive enough! I am just fascinated by the S&W Model 629.
i see you have your own recording studio. good for you man. its the smaller studios that are putting out quality stuff nowadays. i have a recording engineering degree and am trying to do the same soon
That's awesome man. Good luck getting started! I didn't go to school for it, but I am putting out the best work anywhere around here, and I am also the cheapest by far. I don't get much business, and I don't exactly live in the middle of nowhere either. I don't get it. If you get a chance, you should check out some of my music. Links to my myspace and soundclick are on my youtube page. I am playing all instuments in all of it. My myspace has my 4 favorites, and my soundclick has 20 or so more.
UJS8X, you're totally right about the self-defense part. That's why I hate my country's gunlaw (Holland). We are only allowed to own airguns, but we may not carry them, and if an airgun resembles a firearm it's illegal.
the reason i ask is because since im 16 i can't buy a handgun either so instead i saved the money and had my dad buy it for me so when im 21 i can have transfered into my name.can't do much about a carry permit right now but there illegal in my state anyway
Why can't you say online? Unless you have a post 86 full auto, or a gun with no serials that killed someone, I can't think of a reason why you couldn't.

Why do people need guns? Well thanks for askin'! -recreational shooting -hand-eye coordination practice (or should I say practise?) -collecting -protecting yourself from criminals -protecting yourself from animal attacks -protecting all your other amendments via number 2 -home and property defense -hunting -overthrowing oppressive governments -blasting your way to safety when the shit hits the fan -military -law enforcement
just got my restriced(canadas licencing sucks and so does my grammer) my 629 classic is in but its the 8 3/8 barrell, perfect for grizzly bears at work
