i am going into the air force as a jet fighter pilot once i learn how o fly a jet and everything. i already know the hymn of the USAF so thats a good start...BUT im also in band....so if anyone..anyone knows where i can find the sheet music for percussion for the song " wild blue yonder " i would appreciate it.
heey i waant to recruiit.. the air force..but before i want to know everythinks about airforce. and i want to knoe how long it take, to became a pilot..
you are great at editing, this was a cool video of that visit. i wish i would have taken video and pictures of when i went to see my brother. i was more worried about getting to see him then making that memory for others to see. god gless our airmen, and all the other branches and military.
Right now im an AFC in ROTC and even though i don't plan on joining the Air Force I support my friends who will, and all others that will be soaring over me when im a Marine on the ground! Semper Fi! Into the wild blue yonder brothers!!
Sir(s): If I may, at this Date and Time, inform here that Good Men ask me, "So, you gonna go Air Force now?" Truth is, I am NOT "Special." I need to share also that I am still fresh "STRAC" as ever. The United States Air Force (U. S. A. F.) ONLY NEEDS FRESH, STRAC TROOPS, IS NOT THAT CORRECT? Yes, they ALL MUST BE TRULY FRESH as FRESHEST BUNS, WARM BUTTERY LOAVES, & AWESOME DONUT HOLES [WALKING] THAT EVER WENT UP A PLANK. Thank you. Have a Nice Day. Godspeed.
@iriluu heey i waant to recruiit.. the air force..but before i want to know everythinks about airforce. and i want to knoe how long it take, to became a pilot..
Being a pilot aint easy. Your constantly solving equations in your head. They got to shake off SAM's and avoid Triple A's. As well as deal with enemy planes. THen you gotta dogfight and use manuevers to overcome your enemy.
@thegamerman7 I agree with you that being a pilot isn't easy. I'm writing this because I want you to be aware there are a few other types of pilots in the Air Force. Right now I am in the ROTC and plan on being a pilot for the Air Force. However, I do not plan to be a fighter pilot. I want to fly the big planes. Transport cargo and troops will hopefully be my specialty. Managing gas and balancing weight are also two crucial things pilots have to worry about.
USAF does everything every other branch does. Sea rescue. Special Ops. Aviation, Naval. The whole 9 yards. The typical bias stereotype view of the air force is people who fly in air conditioned cockpits and sit at computers all day. Bullshit.
@thegamerman7 Yup yup Apparently people haven't seen the USAF Special Forces - namely pararescue - or the physical training pilots have to go through to survive 9g's without flinching.
@thegamerman7 Yup yup Apparently people haven't seen the USAF Special Forces - namely pararescue - or the physical training pilots have to go through to survive 9g's without flinching. That or the fact that the USAFA is one of the top colleges in the country.
@BoeingB17FF Ya all these children who say stupid things like that just play video games. I play videogames also but they seem to think thats how it really is.
Anouther medal of honnor winner in the USAF threw himself on a grenade to smother the blast and save his teammates. He distincly remembered thinking "what should i do, take cover, throw it back?" He took his helme toff and covered the Grenade and layed on it. It exploded and his stomach was torn open and his intestines were hanging out. But he survived. And i guess he's a coward too?
Medal of Honnor winner once threw himself on a flare in the back of a cargo plane ofter it got hit with a motar injuring everyone in the back. THe flare is 4000 degrees hot and it wa sheading toward the munitions depot. He threw himsef on it and then chucked it out the back. Call him a coward.
the iraqi people have killed each other and the victims of the iraqi civil war thousands and thousands from innocent women and children have been killed by iraqi miltias not by the US
I don't know your friend or their family but this vid is so well put together that I feel like I do know them. It's a very good video. I hope one day I can make it there too.
Calling anyone who serves their country in any form, regardless of what branch or job they hold, a coward is disrespectful and shameful. Every single person, and every single job is important and one could not exist without the other. Regardless of what you say, you can't tell me that becoming a pilot or a sniper is cowardly. You still see action, you still see friends die, you are still sacrificing and fighting to defend your friends, family, and country, please, explain how that is a coward
Thats what i always find myself repeating SpAgent108. Fact is civilians play video games and shit and think they know it all because they kill people on a game. And after playing a game based on the Navey SEALs they think everyone who dosent do exactly what they do that thier crap. I suppose the coast guard is crap then/ Agree 100%% with you SpAgent108
I just wanted to say this video is really great. Not to mention how I plan on becoming an officer after my first enlistment is over. And I wanted to go to the AFA.
...........so i give the greatest respect for the air force cause when my friends and i needed help the army didnt come nore the marines it was the air force. im not sayen the marine and the army suck. but all the branches in the military are the same so stop acting like a fuckin kid sayen the air force sucks grow the fuck up we are all fighting for this great country the united states run it lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To tell you the truth all military branches is the best but i really think fighting over which branch in the military is best is very childish. I mean in every branch we all watch are freinds and fellow officers die and you may think the air foce only fly planes nope!!!!!!!! The air force has special ops, and other ground forces and there job is to save other branches from the military, to rescue, and to fight on the ground just like other branches of the military
Watch what you say. Without the Air Force, we'd be under Communist rule, or at least fighting the commies in the streets of the USA. The Air Force was our first line of defense against a Soviet attack in the US and even in West Europe while the Euro Air Forces were still being re-built and developing after WWII. USAF is still the first line of defense against a large scale military attack from Russia or China or ICBMs from some unstable nation like Pakistan or North Korea.
I know firsthand exactly what you are talking about. My father was a B-52 and F-102 pilot for the USAF. He told me of a top secret nuclear bombing run that he was trained to carry out had the USSR ever attacked.
i dont think anyone is understanding me at all, and besides all that, yeah shit happens right but look at it how many Infantry men died during all those wars and than add together all the ones who drank them selves to death commited suicide all that shit, mentally is what im really talking about here.. i thought some ppl might catch on to that. and again all those stories you had written compare it to all the stories from the infantry and the armoured divisions and you'll see their is more...
No retard im saying amongst all the jobs in the Military being a pilot for the air force is cowards way out just like being a sniper is cowards way out.. Of course its probably the smartest and funnest most deff but you drop bombs and dont have to deal with what the boys on the ground have to deal with, crying, friends being killed and having to watch them die, etc.. its a much harder job than the airforce when you really look at it..
My friend is going into the Air Force as ground ops. While I'm going in as a F-117 avionic systems I would not mind going to war for my country at all.
Cowards? Listen my friend, find a little story on internet about some pilots who were shot down and who bailed them out, like BAT-21, guy was shot down in Vietnam, and 13 men, USAF ParaRescuers, lost their lives trying to rescue him, or the pilot who was shot down over Bosnia in the '90s, how he evaded, survived, and was rescued by USAF ParaRescuers under a hail of RPG, and small arms fire, helo landed in a field under all this fire, rescued the guy, and got the hell out, despite the dangers.
I totally disagree with you. There is no such thing as a coward in the military. You sacrifice so much no matter what branch or career field you serve in.
I served in the Honor Guard at Dover AFB where they recieve all the fallen American soldiers from the war. I don't know if you can find a tougher job than that. Its a tough job having to attend so many funerals, nobody who ever did that will call it "easy". Its something that has happened far to many times here at Dover.
well im gunna have to agree with you in that case... but again i still dont think anyone is understanding what im saying... Infantry is alot harder mentally on you...
Air Force Academy blows all the others away. I have great respect for anyone who completes the Academy. Being an Airman I can say I wish I would've began planning my future at a young age and considered the AFA. But I'm happy as a maintainer as of now!!!
