Anyone notice the bites when they were in the room washing her wounds? THe bites were oozing a bluish liquid... possibly the venum of the creature I imagine. Later, her symptoms are dizziness, then blood from nose, eyes, and mouth. Then she explodes. It doesnt seem reasonable that a parasite could grow that fast while she was in the tent. She would have had been larger longer I would think for a creature to be growing inside her. Must have just been an allergic reation from the toxins, maybe.

Slow the vid down(mainly on the dvd)she explodes and the body just drops. U can barely make out what looks to be her spine. But they were also goin for one of the hazmat's shoting her, but it didn't come off right. Plus, remember the bite victim they carted off right before that moment with his insides blown out.

yes you are correct! she doesn't "blow-up" explode. The special effects wizards used a "blow-up" technique in order to create the blood spatter on the tent, of course, signifying something exploded out of her. You can only see the effects if you slow it down - of course it is a movie flaw. The body before her had something explode out of him and you even hear a doctor or med officer say something about it.

The soldier with his stomach ripped open was dead. He was motionless on the stretcher. He wasn't in a body bag because the director wanted to foreshadow Marlena's upcoming demise. The only people who died are Marlena, Hud, and Jason. Lily was evacuated, and Rob and Beth have a slim chance.
