You have to blame the refs for that, not Hull. Do you think that even crossed his mind as he swatted that puck in? Of course not. He didn't fuck up, he tried to score. And he did. Now IF (and that's a big if) the sabres could have beaten the stars later that night there was no way in HELL they were beating a RAGING STARS team in a RAGING HOME STADIUM in DALLAS a few nights later. They wouldn't have been able to hack it ... and i'm not saying that to sound like a dick .. but the only thing that got the sabres that far was HASEK ... who's a damn good goalie.
Riffypeat, I have news for you. Same with Bobby. First of all... Kurri and Gretz were a much better combo and Kurri was a much better player than the Golden Brett. I so wanna catch your leg on fire right now...

Maybe goals, but he was only a goal scorer. Gretzky had twice as many assists as goals, he was a playmaker
