I dont klike to be unkind but my dad wrote this piece - he never thought it was one of his greatest works - it has however been Iconically popular for close on fifty years - but to hear it crucified in ths way is *************
@michaelfahey1947 Hello Michael. I hardly intended to "crucify" it and I'm very sorry if I offended by simply trying to share my enjoyment of playing this fantastic piece. It was recorded close to two years ago and of course I can tell it's quite out of time in places (I'm no drummer) and lacks the original lush orchestration etc but isn't it more important that your father's wonderful piece is still inspiring people like myself to make and, more importantly, love music??
