  • an interesting idea, clear might be nice

  • Huh, Genius. ^_^

  • must say, this is one of the first tv sold products that actually looks like a good idea

  • remember visiting my uncle, and wondering why his sink would not drain,

answer. mash potato, had to remove the u bend, are they availible in the UK?

  • Hi, Very interesting video guys, & like all good innovations they are deceptively simple, this is a good innovation & good luck in marketing, I recently put a video up on cleaning of HHo Plates, & the dangers of using drain cleaners to do the job, the chemical reaction is fast and furious, I will send a clip out of my video in a video response which might shock some of your viewers too.. Regarding the safety aspects.

    Thom in Scotland.

  • too bad the device cant be operated electronically for bath tubs so every week or so it turns or you push a button to turn it

  • @40baby401 Thanks for your inputs....We are evaluating several options for addressing the issue with tubs and showers and making the PermaFLOW electronic is one of such options.

  • How many states is this trap approved in?

  • @tikidog101

Just like a conventional P-Trap, the PermaFLOW is tested and certified by IAPMO (International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials) to comply with the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC), International Plumbing Code (IPC) and International Residential Code (IRC). Most state and city plumbing codes follow the above codes but may have minor variations. It is a standard industry practice to certify plumbing fixtures to Uniform Plumbing Code.

  • Your video has a couple of misspellings. You may want to check that.

  • wow i am getting this.......hell yea thats what about talking about , reserch in motion i like it alot, big up for this video .

  • @Digitalsine - I would appreciate your views on our other product ClogFREE Pop-Up..Please look for it on Youtube too....

  • Does this work with Bathtubs?

  • @oak415 - Yes it will work with bath tubs - but you won't have access to turn the dial - so effectively much of the value will not be gained....

  • may give it a go but i've a feeling this will breakdown a lot

  • @happyguycol - It has been extensively tested and there is nothing in there to break down. If everything failed, it wills till operate like a regular p-trap. However, the seals and teh dial mechanism has been tested for over 150,000 turns in operating conditions - which basically emans that if someone actually turned the dial twice daily, it would be over 300 years...

  • @permaflow Whoa! Haha Thats brilliant, i'll be fitting these more. Thanks

  • How does it work with long strands of hair? The ladies tend to enjoy doing their hair right in front of the sink.

  • @leaddrop - The PermaFLOW geomatry increases turbulence and flows the hair freely without providing them an opportunity to settle down and since the inside of teh trap can be maintained clan with the dial, there is no place for the hair to stick to....

  • Holy crap! now that is a good idea! why hasn't anyone come up with something like this before?!

  • This device defeat purpose of trap. Bigger problem down the road.

  • @zlitn - The purpose of p-trap is not to trap debris (though the traditional versions do this anyways). The purpose is to trap water so it doesn't allow sewer gases to come into the house or property....which all p-traps attain including the PermaFLOW.

  • very goog

  • What's a goog?

  • @wilkes85 - I think he meant good

  • i got it in my new house

  • does it work?

  • How do you like it so far? I may get this.

  • yeah I'd like to know how it's workin for ya too...this looks really cool..im having serious blockage issues with my bathroom sink!

  • Have you bought one yet curlychronicles? Was wondering how it works.

  • It looks great.
