  • The Canon was used as background music for the June 1983 wedding of Quint and Nola on "Guiding Light." I always think of that wedding and the famous "balloon scene" whenever I hear the piece!

    You're an amazing keyboard player!

    Regards from NYC!

  • can i be your student, Master? I copy some parts of your song and add into mine. won't you get mad? Is it ok to do that?

  • Hey,

I was just wondering what you use too record? I also have the Sound Blaster Audigy card.

Love all your covers by the way! (:

  • I thought George Winston owned this, but now I know that ownership is shared! Bravo! Very sensitive and emotional.

I might have to give some extension play abit of a try like that! Amazing! Did you create that extension yourself? Or is there actually sheet music composed of the way you play it?

  • This was actually an "on the spot" arrangement, so I can't really recreate it. I'm sorry... Best to you.

  • Beautiful, I love the extra parts you've incorperated within it. Beautiful job with playing it as well ^^ :D

  • this is the only good one on here

  • just.. incredible! I listened to it like ten times in a row. amazing! I know you don't have the sheet music, but maybe, since you play it so good, you could connect your keyboard via MIDI and make the sheet music, record it (using Encore, for example.. just a thought) That way it would be exactly as u play it! :D

  • Amazing talent! Incredibly played! Kudos!

  • Great once i turn the speakers up to full :)

  • Do you happen to have a CD of this piece? It's a BEAUTIFUL rendition of Canon in D. I've been listening to Canon in D a lot lately as I'm getting married this Christmas and would LOVE to have your piece played as I walk down the aisle! Take care!

  • i just can't help listening to this piece!!!dang it's good!!!!

  • i have a Cannon in D music sheet just tell me then ill email

  • Hey, can you forward the sheet music to me?

  • hey i would love it if u can send the music sheet to me at Triple_H_1219@yahoo.com, Thanks a lot!

As for the video, this is one of the best improvisation of Canon in D I've ever heard. Simply amazing. WOW

  • aww no sheet music? i was hoping to learn this lol

  • Man, that is some smoooooooooooth music. It's like the very bells of heaven welcoming a WWII Veteran into the gates. lol

  • this was amazing. absolutely amazing.

  • Great! However, either the mic is weak or the speakers are or both. I recommend aYamaha monitors and a minimum of maybe of Shure Mics.

  • Thanks. Actually, I don't use mics at all, I'm plugging directly into a Sound Blaster Audigy card. I think I may have had the line-in a little bit too low. I tried to correct for this in later recordings. I think you should be able to turn up your headphones/speakers enough to get a good sound... I know I can. Thanks again.

  • Very, very well done! A really masterful interpretation of this piece, definitely worth the five stars I just gave it.

  • Thank you so much for doing a piano version of this song!! This song is so gorgeous and gives me a feeling of....freedom!! I can't explain it but it's just amazing! One of the best classical songs tht existes! If it isn't the best!!

I just wanted to ask you if you could send me the song or something, it's so beautiful! You play very well!! Please send me this version that your playing!

    My e-mail is Katarinah_ctx@hotmail.com!!

  • wow...you are amazing

  • oh my god.. this is GOOD ! improvisation ?

  • you are amazing! i wish I could play like that. i've been searching for the sheet music of what you played online, but I can't find it... if you have a copy or ne thing, it'd be sweet to send it my way!

  • Thanks so much. Unfortunately there is no sheet music. This kind of my take on Canon, with variations borrowed from others.
