  • Man..I live about 25 miles out of Downtown Chicago..

I heard you gotta get 25+ Miles out of the blast radius or you'll be killed by radiation or the blast

  • i woulg grab alll the guns in the house and drive as fast as i can becuse the radiation would contamanate the air and it would seek throw the doors and windows

  • i thank that when terist drop nucler boms on amarica thay will drop them on the bigest citys of each state

  • lol of course its terrorists. im sure that to you every bronze skinned guy is some terrorist. go to the dentist and use some rogaine you shit

  • i would just fart to combat the radiation, methane is way more powerfull than radiation

  • I WOULD KISS MY ASS GOOD BYE.........

  • 50 miles = .. bull shit. 50 miles is a safe distance when it comes to a blast. the blast vaporises everything within 10 miles of the epicentre. 50 miles shoud leave you ok.. but the radio active fall out etc.. is more that certainly likely to affect you. There are measures you can take, eg. pottasium oidine? (spelling) stops you from developing radiation poisoning and if im correct.. cancer too. Your suposed to plastic sheet all doors windows, anywhere when the outside air can escape in..

  • You are an idiot, if a nuclear bomb went off within 50 miles of you you are DEAD.

  • at <15 miles you'd die from heat before you would be able to run away

  • If you have installed a bomb shelter & it is stalked with a years worth of supply's,

It would be in your best interests to sit tight until it is safe to move. If not, Get out & travel in the opposite direction that the wind is going.

  • hide in your basement than

  • Well i was in the NAVY on submarines called SSBN which carry 16 missiles with MIRV . I could tell a lot about it but its secret . They taught me all about Nuke attacks f I was outside never face the bomb as it would blind you also try to get in a overpass or a large pipe . If you in a house get in the tub stand in a strong door way or the basement . If you stay in the car it will provide a little radiation protection.

  • Governments New Public Service Announcer = Adam Savage

"I reject your reality and substitute my own"

  • It all depends on the yield of the nuclear weapon and how close you are to ground zero. I would rather leave as soon as possible due to contamination.

  • Does the tv show Jericho come to mind?

  • You also have to ask yourself what you consider survival to be. I personally would rather die instantly, than slowly over several days. I was under the impression that the levels given off by nuclear winds kills all even if you survive the initial blast.

The government needs to tell us what levels in what circumstances are survivable long term.

  • @brahman8908 there use to be a show on either Spike or Discovery, which talks about how to survive a nuclear attack if you aren't in the blast range inside of a city. if i remember right they said a sealed room with no windows, can keep a lot of fall out until rescue crews arrives.

  • The living will envy the dead. "I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones". ~Albert Einstein. It does not matter where you are, you are dead. All it will take is one, then total commitment with nuclear weapons.

  • During the first 20 secs, you said the government is giving us instructions...see thats the thing....they don't give us instructions we tell them what to do.

  • I would reject ANY advise originating from the federal government. They are concerned with their own interests, not our survival. If people stay put they are more likely to die.

I would get away, far away.
