Apep screaming NEFER-TINA! as he jumps from his bike has stuck with me for years. Corny scrip and plot holes be dammed! That guy knew when to follow his plans for revenge or the call of his heart. Plus great pick up lines.

Also does anyone else notice when when you remember the cartoons from your childhood they have a heck of alot better animation then they actually did?

I was never big into this show, but this episode did stand out in my mind for years. Its a shame that Apep died, he was a great character. Surprisingly harsh ending for a 90s kids show. Pretty impressive.

The emotions that Apep & Nefertina are suppose to have for one another continually forces me to remember that this is a American 90s cartoon. Cheesy, but compared to to days crap I wouldn't trade it in at all.

cartoon love, know each other for all of 5 minutes and already they're making commitments. oh well, my optimism for being able to enjoy this show at 19 like I did when I was 9 was fun while it lasted. I still love the mummies' character designs to bits though.

Actually, I turned 19 this year and I still love this show. It's a cartoon! Who cares if there are trifle cartoon commitments, it's dramatic. :] I WISH they had released a season for home T.V.

@mizukoi I changed my mind after writing that comment when I watched more episodes. The show had plenty or plot holes that should have been easily avoided and was terrible with continuity, but it was still loads of nostalgic fun. And just saying, being a cartoon shouldn't be an excuse for lazy writing.

I wish they could have made a second season. Was a bit sad when I reached the last episode.

Rath is plagued by a love-hate relationship with Chontra, his former student in magic, now an enemy. Love can be very complicated and sticky at times...
