    Frank..............

  • Diggin' this stuff. I have an 88 ES 175, looks very similar, except that the pickups differ. Really nice sound. Lovin' the Setzler stuff.

  • Hey mate its me how you and ur Awsome rockabilly band goin please do keep in touch hope to see more new videos soon

  • @MrJarmayne Hi...yes we have a new video clip to be released very soon.....Its for our new original release HATS TO TIGHT....Will be up on you Tube soon..

Frank..HAD A HUGE SHOW TODAY...there was three Big Cruse Ships come into post today...and we where lucky enough to entertain them!..

  • Sounding great!!

  • can anyone explain to achieve that tone? what guitar amp? or pedals? settings..... by the way it sounds better than a Gretcsh.

  • @almostnormalCB Hi......thanks for looking........You see I always wanted an archtop to sound like a Fender..I love the Fender Single coil sound...So I found these Gretsch Dynasonics...and boy to they sound great clean!...Use a Fender TUBE Amp (Hand wired P2P older Fender Vintage if you can) then use the bright switch..presence up.. and a slap delay setting on a effects pedal..(I use a vintage Ibanez DD10)

Tell me how you go....You CANNOT go wrong if you use an Old Vintage Fender Amp...Frank

  • Nice playing, the axe sounds great.

  • Love those guitars!!

  • Hey..its a sample video....You can checkout "Rockabilly guitar Riffs"..more cool stuff...Whoo...ahrrr

  • Beautiful guitar & some great playing! I was hoping it was more of a lesson type video though.

I just recently traded for a 2002 135; it's the blonde maple one. It is absolutely beautiful & just sounds incredible! I have the Bigsby B-11 on it & it just totally compliments the guitar both for playing & aesthetically very pleasing!!! Cheers!

  • @HonRevPTB ....Hi...sorry bout no instructions....but i was just sampling the great guitar.........i bought a B6 for mine...but there is not enough string break for the Bigsby to work correctly........does the B11 have screws to hold it down to the surface? I kinda dont like the thought of making holes in the top......thanks for looking....checkout my other video "Rockabilly guitar Riffs Epiphone/Gretsch Custom"

    Cheers

    Frank.......

  • Great playing!

    I got the same guitar....from huh...1993 I believe...

In sunburst. It's still in the case, I use my ES295 for rockabilly.

    :P

  • Oh my Garrrd...Luton Airport!! Lorraine Chase almost made the place famous...and what made Luton famous was the leaving of the ratta-tatta machine gun guitar licker!! Frank, don't ever come back mate, the pubs are all closing and the semi-pro and amateur music scene is dying because of it...damn Governments have always hated rock 'n' roll because it's the sign of a mis-spent youth...free spirits. The Karaoke scene was a threat, and that's gone with the bars too. *O11 /11 11 12 12 (let ring)Buddy!

  • Ratso...love the ROCK THIS TOWN licks...the 135 looks good with dots...I figured it'd have block markers and look more the jazzer's tool. MOST FAMOUS 'Ratso'?? Ratso Rizzo (Dustin Hoffman in "Midnight Cowboy") imagine Setzer taking on the theme from Midnight Cowboy (famous wailing harmonica)...sort of thing Hank Marvin would love no doubt. GOTTA GO!! Too hip man!! I just have to wonder what the lead guitarist is like in your band...Pom humour! Great playing and some niiice gear!

  • Hi again...I think I have already replied to you....but I forgot to let you know I am originaly from the UK Luton...My family still lives there....

    Cheers

    Franky

    Keep a Rockin!!!
