I have a question , how did u guys recording the guitars?, from the amp output into the pc? cuz i dont see some microphones

The cable runs from the amp heads, out the door and down the hallway to where the speaker cab is. Where it is mic'd and then sent back up the hallway to the control room and plugged into the computer interface.

Yup! That's correct. The whole album was recorded in Drop C tuning.

i have a question on how you guys recorded this. after you tracked the drums, did you export it into one track, record guitar/bass, export and so on with vocals ?

No, actually it's all multi track recording. We record the drums and get the session file on a hard drive and took it the other studio where we did guitar and opened them there. Nothing gets mixed down to 1 track until everything is recorded. Then it goes to the mixing stage where each track gets leveled, EQ'd, edited, etc. Then finally it gets bounced down to a mixed file, and onto mastering where the overall track is EQ'd for stereo speakers and the volume is brought up to standard CD volume.

We pretty much all have the same thing. Power supply, Korg DTR-1000 Tuner, BBE Sonic Maximizer. That's about it! We'll probably all invest in Noise Gates when we can afford them. We didn't use racks to record though.

No, Justin Powell mixed our recording and it turned out amazing! There was a massive mix up with hammer and the anvil, so chase had to make a last minute mix of the entire album so that it could ship on time. Monsters will be a MUCH higher quality album than H&A.
